Vinegar is a superior cleaning agent because it eliminates both stains and odor from your grout. For the agent to work, you need to mix it with warm water. Then apply the mixture to your area of focus then brush thoroughly and rinse with clean water.
Since it is porous, grout will absorb all urine that lands on it. With the right grout cleaning and sealing products, it will look like the bathroom accident didn't happen. Remember, you want to clean urine stains immediately since urine can grow bacteria, making your floor unsanitary.
In a clean spray bottle, mix one cup of distilled white vinegar with one cup of water and 2 teaspoons of baking soda. Shake it up to mix the ingredients, and then spray on the stain. Let it sit for a few minutes, and then blot with towels until clean.
Remove Set-In Urine Stains
After presoaking for at least 30 minutes, launder in warm—not hot—water with your regular detergent. If the stain remains, mix a new solution of oxygen-based bleach and water and soak overnight, then wash again. This will remove any discoloration, but oxygen bleach does not disinfect fabrics.
Old urine stains
In a bowl, mix 10 ounces of 3% hydrogen peroxide, 3 tablespoons of recently opened baking soda and two to three drops of dishwashing detergent. Mix until the baking soda is dissolved. Pour into a spray bottle. Pre-test the upholstery by spraying some cleaner in an inconspicuous place.
Hydrochloric acid Hydrochloric acid removes even ingrained urine scale quickly and effectively. However, it is very aggressive and can damage the surface of the ceramic bowl, making it more vulnerable to staining in future. The corrosive acid can also be harmful for eyes, skin and airways.
Step 1: Apply Baking Soda Directly to Stain
Rather than blotting up excess urine with a towel as you would normally, skip immediately to applying baking powder directly to the soiled surface. Baking soda absorbs moisture, and should darken in color as it draws the urine up and out of the mattress.
There are four natural options for removing pet urine: cleaning with vinegar and baking soda, use a solution of vinegar, baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, and dish soap, create a vodka-based solution, or an enzymatic remover with essential oils.
Some of the most effective household cleaners aren't meant to be mixed. You probably already know never to combine harsh chemicals like bleach and ammonia (or really, bleach and anything). But common pantry essentials that are often used for cleaning — like baking soda and vinegar — shouldn't be mixed either.

Though concrete, tile and grout seems to be a hard, dense material, they are actually quite porous. This being the case, they can absorb large amounts of pet urine and fecal matter that can not be washed away.
Your grout to become water-damaged, subflooring to become water-logged, and possibly harbor mold, as well as tile breaking loose. Water damage affecting tile and grout can cause discoloration, stains, mold growth, and more.
Unfortunately, vinegar penetrates unsealed grout by seeping into the air spaces within the material. Once lodged in these spaces, vinegar will corrode grout with the passage of time. The grout will eventually wear off. So you should take not to apply vinegar for cleaning purposes if you have unsealed grout in the area.
You can also use white vinegar for chemical-free grout cleaning. Simply pour vinegar from the bottle into the cap and pour it over the dirty grout lines. Allow the lemon juice or vinegar to sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Then, scrub with a small brush or old toothbrush.
Cleaning Grout with Vinegar
Distilled white vinegar is a safe, natural cleaner and disinfectant you can use all around the house. Pour or spray undiluted vinegar onto your grout and let it sit for 10 minutes before using a toothbrush, scrubbing in a circular motion. Next, rinse away the dirt and mildew.
White vinegar is highly alkaline and can deodorize areas marked with dog urine, but it is not an enzyme cleaner. Urine stains contain organic enzymes that are difficult to remove completely with traditional cleaning methods.
It's important to know that the uric acid that gives urine it's ammonia-like smell is harder to dissolve in colder water at a lower pH, like that provided by vinegar, but is easier to dissolve in warmer water at a higher pH like that provided by baking soda.

Step 2 - If the stain persists, pour a bit of the vinegar and water solution directly on the stain, scrub with a scrub brush and blot dry. Sprinkle a bit of extra baking soda onto the pee stain to neutralize both the pee smell and the vinegar smell.
If left for days or weeks, depending on the fabric or floor type, it will change the dye structure, therefore causing permanent staining. Even if the soluble deposits are removed, the damage to the dye structure may already be done.
You can try to soak up some of the urine with a rag or something before, but I'm always afraid (especially with couch cushions or rugs) that I'll be pushing it IN. So I simply leave the salt on for a few hours, then vacuum. If there is still a wet spot, I reapply and do it all again.
Toothpaste Urine Stain Removal
I've found that toothpaste (ordinary daily-use toothpaste) gets out some tough stains.
Old or dried urine stains can be difficult to remove, often leaving carpet fibers permanently discolored or with an unpleasant lingering odor.
Prep the area – Begin spraying the grout with hot water and scrubbing with a brush to remove surface dirt and grime. As you spray and scrub, follow the grout lines in a circular motion. A steam cleaner will also clean grout.
