On the day of Holi, entire streets and towns turn red, green and yellow as people throw colored powder into the air and splash them on others. Each color carries a meaning. Red, for example, symbolizes love and fertility while green stands for new beginnings. People also splash water on each other in celebration.
The 3 Colors of Ministry presents a holistic approach to identifying and developing your spiritual gifts. It is based on the three dimensions of God's nature, for which the author has chosen the colors of green, red and blue.
White: White refers to holiness, light, purity, redemption, and the righteousness of Jesus Christ (Mark 16:5). Black: Black symbolizes sin, darkness, death, and catastrophe (Zephaniah 1:15).
But Austin, 10, says: “God doesn't have a color. He is so glorious, he doesn't need one. When we go to heaven, we won't care what color he is.” Memorize this truth: “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth” (John 4:24).
Gold is the color most used to symbolize the Divine connection and each figure connected to christ, including Jesus himself, has a golden halo drawn around their head to show their loyalty to Jesus during his crucifixion.
Is it any wonder that Edwards might have thought that God's favorite color was green in that it rendered for us, in color, an “emblem of divine grace” since life so clearly conquers death (1 Corinthians 15:55).
Notice anything consistent? Mary is almost always decked out in blue, while Jesus typically wears red. Throughout history, blue has been considered a sacred and valuable hue.
Most ancient peoples, including blacks, color-coded good and evil in the way that Hebrews and early Christians did. Black was the color of sin, evil, and death; and white was the symbol of goodness, God, and eternal life.
Wrath: Red. Envy: Green. Pride: Violet/Purple. Gluttony: Orange.

The color Saffron (Sanskrit: भगवा, lit. 'Bhagwā') is considered as sacred color in Hinduism.
Holy Blood
Red, symbolic of the blood of Christ, has played an important role in Christianity and Christian iconography. Cardinals wear red robes and the color is predominant in public-worship garments and textiles. Adopting the color was also a way for kings in the Middle Ages to show their God-given right to rule.
White is an important symbolic color in most religions and cultures, usually because of its association with purity. In the Roman Catholic Church, white is associated with Jesus Christ, innocence and sacrifice.
The light of the Trinity, which suffuses the mind in the highest forms of prayer, is sapphire blue, the colour of heaven.
Ezekiel Described God's Glory
as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward…as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about” (Ezekiel 1:26-27, KJV).
Jesus himself said that “God is Spirit.” Whether or not spirit can possess the property of color I do not know but, if so, we are certainly not told which color. Besides that, both the Old and New testaments insist that God is invisible to humans.
Blue. Blue is associated with forgiveness, harmony, astral projection, and the throat chakra.
“Red” “Red” was indicated among the top three colors for anger, followed by jealousy, fear, and envy, respectively (Figure 2).
It came in the form of the explanation Christian Science gives of God as Mind, Principle, Soul, Spirit, Life, Truth, and Love--synonymous terms for the one God. I finally understood that God, defined in this way, has no color.
Blue. Blue is the color of spirituality, intuition, inspiration and inner peace. It is also associated with sadness and depression (the "blues"). In healing blue is used for cooling and calming, both physically and mentally.
Undoubtedly, the strongest link between an individual emotion and color is “red” and anger, which has been noted across studies and formats (e.g., Kaya and Epps, 2004; Sutton and Altarriba, 2016).
Light Blue – Sloth
Sloth is the act of being lazy or idle.
The Bible doesn't specifically mention Jesus' favorite color but we know He would've witnessed the oranges and reds of sunsets, the blue of the sky, the green of the reeds planted by streams of water, the green of the frog in the river, the yellow wheat fields ready for harvest, and the white of the lilies of the field ...
Deeply rooted in Catholic symbolism, the blue of her cloak has been interpreted to represent the Virgin's purity, symbolize the skies, and label her as an empress, for blue was associated with Byzantine royalty.
Luke 23:11 simply calls it a "gorgeous robe." Matthew 27:28 says it was a scarlet robe. The Tabernacle described in Numbers is a picture of the ministry of Jesus as our High Priest. It was covered over by scarlet. However, Mark 15:17 and John 19:2 say it was a purple robe.
