Some countries have different leaving or employment ages, but in certain countries like China and Japan, the average age at which people graduate is 15, depending upon part-time or full-time learning or employment.
The senior high school education usually starts at age 16 and ends at age 18. The junior high school graduate students can either study in a senior high school or at a vocational school.
Minors refer to citizens under the age of 18.
The answer is sixteen. Under the Minors Protection Law of China, no organization or individual may hire any minor under the age of sixteen, except as otherwise provided for by the State. In accordance with the Labor Law of China, employers are prohibited from recruiting minors under the age of 16.

Getting a Degree in China in 2023
There are three main categories of degrees in China: bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. To earn these degrees, you need to study for approximately 2 to 8 years, depending on the level of the degree and field of study.
In Australia, Year 11 is typically the twelfth year of education. Although there are slight variations between the states, most students in Year 11 are aged between sixteen and seventeen. Queensland year 11 students are the youngest in the country, as they usually enter at age fifteen.
The school days usually last a whole day (from around 8:00 until 17:00) with 45-minutes-long classes, with a little more flexible schedules in more rural areas. In China's metropolises, where lunch breaks are shorter, kids might finish school around 15:00 as well.
The legal leaving age is 17
Your child must go to a school campus (or an approved alternative) until they finish year 10. After year 10, your child does not need to go to a school campus. But they must take part in education, training or employment for at least 25 hours per week, until they are 17 years old.
In China, the summer vacation typically begins around mid-July, though some schools will break up as early as late June. The vacation period lasts for about 2 months, which students can spend doing different things.
Most undergraduate programs in China have an age limit of 18 to 25/30 years, while postgraduate programs typically set the limit at 35 years. Dating and relationships
In general, there are no laws that say when a young person can start dating another person (but there are laws about doing sexual activity with another person, which we explain below!) However, there are laws which make grooming children under the age of 16 a crime.
The applicant who will go to China for marriage registration shall apply for a single/non-marital status certificate. Legal marriage age in China is 22 or older for male and 20 or older for female.

According to the Chinese nominal age system, a person is counted as one year old on the day of birth, and becomes one year older, each year, on the day the Chinese New Year is celebrated. This means that, in China, nominal age is usually exaggerated by one to two years as compared with actual age.
But there's no doubt that the job market is weak and that age discrimination, which is not against the law in China, is prevalent. That is a double whammy for workers in their mid-30s who are making big decisions about career, marriage and children.
