Muslims circumcise at a wide range of ages, from as early as the seventh day after birth (following Prophet Muhammad's example) to late childhood or adolescence, often around ages six to ten, though it's generally done before puberty, varying by family, region, and cultural tradition. While some Muslim communities perform it in infancy (like in Saudi Arabia), others, particularly in Southeast Asia, might do it as a coming-of-age rite around 10-12 years old.
The Jewish circumcision is routinely performed on the eighth day of the child's life and can only be performed during daylight hours.
Imam Abu Hanifa and Imam Malik consider circumcision to be recommended but not obligatory. This means that if done, its doer is rewarded by God, and if not done, there is no punishment or reward. The scholars agree that circumcision entails the removal of all or the majority of the foreskin that covers the glans only.
You can get circumcised at any age. But most circumcisions occur within the first week after birth — usually within the first 48 hours — in a hospital. It's best to perform a circumcision as soon as possible. Delaying the procedure can make it riskier.

Some boys can retract their foreskin as early as age 5, but some may not be able to do this until their teenage years. Retraction of the foreskin should not be forced. This may cause pain and bleeding and can lead to scarring and adhesions (where skin is stuck to skin).

The reason for this would be that the beard is considered by Allah a thing of adornment and beauty for His Prophet Adam (as). Moreover, not only a thing of adornment and beauty for Adam (as) but also for his male offspring till the day of reckoning.
Because the commandant for this duty rests on the man, any form of male contraception or sterilization is prohibited by Traditional Jewish Law. However, liberal figures and authorities encourage male contraception when the use of contraception is important for the safety and health of the man and his partner.
