Adam is the name given in Genesis 1-5 to the first human.
Adam was neither God nor the Only Begotten Son of God. He was a child of God in the spirit as we all are (see Acts 17:29). Jesus was the firstborn in the spirit, and the only one born to God in the flesh. ...
And so Christians then started saying he must have been made the son of God at his baptism. That's a view that you appear to get in the Gospel of Mark, which begins with Jesus being baptized and God declaring him his son at the baptism.

We know that at 12 Jesus understood in a conscious human way he was the Son of God.
