Yes, Albus Severus Potter was sorted into Slytherin at Hogwarts, breaking the Potter family tradition of Gryffindor, much to his and others' surprise, and forming a close friendship with Scorpius Malfoy in the process. This event, from Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, marked a significant shift for a Potter and highlighted his unique path, despite initially fearing it.
Albus Potter was placed in Slytherin House because he wanted to be with Scorpius Malfoy, his first friend in the Hogwarts Express. Also, the Sorting Hat saw that he would do good in Slytherin, like it did to Harry, but the change is that he wanted to be in Slytherin, so he was put in Slytherin, unlike his father.
After arriving at Hogwarts, Albus and his fellow students attended the Sorting Ceremony. The Sorting Hat placed Rose in Gryffindor and both Scorpius and Albus in Slytherin, to the surprise of many.
From Harry potter and the cursed child Harry and Ginny have three children. Lily Luna Potter was sorted into Gryffindor as was expected. She didn't take long for the sorting hat to decide on and it was as easy as that. Albus Severus Potter was sorted into Slytherin, much to his own dismay.
Lord Voldemort
In 1943, Tom Riddle, the "Heir of Slytherin", opened the Chamber of Secrets to conduct a purge on Muggle-born students. This resulted in the death of Myrtle Warren, who eventually returned as a ghost. Riddle opened the Chamber again in 1993 through the use of one of his seven Horcruxes, his diary.
Harry is the heir of Gryffindor, although he had characteristics of both Slytherin (cleverness, resourcefulness, determination) and Gryffindor (bravery, honor, recklessness, chilvary). It is why Harry was able to claim the Sword of Gryffindor.
Voldemort found Nagini in Albania after his initial defeat, likely while he was a weak spirit possessing snakes; she was a unique, powerful snake, possibly a Maledictus (a witch with a blood curse turning her into a beast), making her an ideal companion, and he eventually made her his final Horcrux by murdering Bertha Jorkins with her present. Their connection deepened as he used her venom to sustain himself and later made her a container for his soul, ensuring their bond was profound and twisted.
Hufflepuff is often considered the worst house at Hogwarts because it hasn't contributed as much to magic as other houses, except for a few exceptions like Newt Scamander. Hufflepuffs are known for their hard work but it rarely leads to major magical discoveries.
At the end before Harry goes to get the stone, Hermione says "Books, cleverness, there are far more important things like bravery". Something to that extent. She may have been very brainy, but she valued Gryfindor's attributes more than Ravenclaws.
Starting in the 1991–1992 school year: Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley, Neville Longbottom, Dean Thomas and Seamus Finnigan shared this dormitory when they started their education at Hogwarts.
In the past, J.K. Rowling has said, 'In many, many ways, Hufflepuff is my favourite house. '
It never really was forbidden - just that certain places like the chamber there and the Hogsmeade secret entrance were the only things there. It was forbidden during Harry's first year of Hogwarts. It was out of bounds to everyone that did not wish to die a most painful death.
These are Slytherin traits but when push came to shove, Percy stood alongside his family and fought for what was right. The Sorting Hat has Legillemency, and most likely saw the bravery in Percy, so placed him in Gryffindor.
As for Ron, Hufflepuff is probably the worst house for him. He's not hard-working (unless he really has to be), particularly tolerant (look at his treatment of Krum, for instance), or patient (see the first half of Deathly Hallows).
She was even more shocked to discover that she could speak with it. She was a Parselmouth, a descendant of Salazar Slytherin, through a squib line.
Snape has no family or friends to remember him and everyone saw him as a murder and a traitor, Harry was the only person alive who knew the truth. By naming his kid after Snape it's the Boy Who Lived naming Snape as a hero, forever solidifying that fact.
McGonagall was a Hatstall
Yep, the Sorting Hat nearly didn't place McGonagall in the house of courage and chivalry but thought the house of wit and wisdom, Ravenclaw, might have been where she belonged instead. The Hat was so torn, it took over five minutes to make its decision – thus making Minerva a Hatstall.
Though nominally a Muggle-born witch, Hermione is descended from the Dagworth-Granger family through her father's squib heritage. Though not an Ancient and Noble or Noble House, the Dagworth-Granger family is known for their natural potion-making skills.
Neville Longbottom — The Sorting Hat was determined to place him in Gryffindor, but because Neville found Gryffindor's reputation for bravery intimidating, he asked to be put in Hufflepuff. The two argued silently for "a long time" before the Hat finally got its way and declared him a Gryffindor.

People say the Most Forgotten House is Hufflepuff, but people pay so much attention to it BECAUSE they think it's forgotten. In the end it's Ravenclaw. Slytherin are the main antagonists in HP (typically) to be forgotten.
Finally, Slytherin is thought of as the 'evil' house. These stereotypes are found throughout Harry Potter, with Harry himself refusing to be sorted into Slytherin and Draco Malfoy saying he'd leave if he were sorted into Hufflepuff.
When Harry and Hermione are on the first floor of Bathilda's house, Nagini (inside the corpse of Bathilda) tells Harry to "Come!" from the next room in Parseltongue. In reaction, Hermione jumps and clutches Harry's arm, and the two of them obey the command.
While Credence is a Dumbledore, he isn't the brother of Albus, Aberforth and Ariana. In fact, he's Aberforth's secret son! Aberforth met Credence's mother the same summer that Albus and Grindelwald met.
He trusted snape because snape had proven himself many times before. Voldemort took anyone that was magical and had his own ideas in common during his first crusade.
