Unlike others in the series, Yakuza 6 has occassional innuendo. You can date and hang around hostess clubs, but nothing too unsuitable. Drugs and use of alcohol is slightly mild. Characters don't smoke AS often than before, but alcohol is still served at bars and hostess clubs.

As the latest, Yakuza: Like A Dragon, once again shakes up the series, with a new location, a new protagonist and also a drastic change to a turn-based RPG, it also includes a playable female character in the party.
