It was in Hogwarts that Lucius attained one of the biggest honours of being in the Slytherin House, being chosen as the Prince of Slytherin by the Hydra Throne. He lead the House from the shadows from 1970 to 1972.
Myth 6: the Malfoys are heirs of Slytherin
So it's a surprise to find out Malfoy's as confused as everyone else. The only thing he is heir to is his family name, and as his father doesn't see fit to tell him about plans their house-elf Dobby is aware of, it seems he has a way to go yet…
Lucius Malfoy (b. 1954) was a pure-blood wizard, and son of Abraxas Malfoy and his wife, as well as the husband of Narcissa Black and the father of Draco Malfoy. Lucius was educated at Hogwarts, where he was a prefect in Slytherin House.
The main reason is that Lucius failed to retrieve the prophecy from the Ministry of Magic, put that on top of all the other times Lucius failed, and it leads to him losing any clout he once carried within the Death Eaters. Lucius did that for his own benefit - he was trying to discredit Arthur weasley.
Isaacs brings up Lucius' disheveled appearance in Deathly Hallows, raising the possibility that the Malfoy patriarch had begun drinking too much. The way Isaacs saw it, Lucius was in a no-win situation. Given everything he'd done, the man no longer had a place on either side of the war.
Lucius Malfoy is one of the only Death Eaters to go through an actual character arc in the series. During this arc, we see him fall from Lord Voldemort's favor. This shattered his confidence, and thus impacted his magical abilities.
Despite being a valued Death Eater in the days before Voldemort fell following his attack on baby Harry, Lucius stumbled out of favor with the Dark Lord when he squandered Riddle's diary (secretly a horcrux) in Chamber of Secrets and failed to obtain the prophecy in Order of the Phoenix.
While disguised as Moody, Crouch attacks Draco by turning him into a ferret. Initially, this comes across as a gesture of goodwill as “Moody” says he did it because Draco was going to curse Harry behind his back.
It is also probable that, since Narcissa's lie to Voldemort saved Harry's life, the family is pardoned for their crimes. They keep a relatively low profile after that, while continuing to live a leisurely life in the Malfoy Manor.
Charity Burbage floats helplessly above a dinner table, as if paralysed. She begs Snape to help her. Voldemort point his wand at her, and a green light erupts out of its end. The light hits Charity, and she falls down on to the table dead, her eyes open and her face splattered with droplets of blood.
At Hogwarts, she, along with her sisters, was sorted into Slytherin. It is suggested in the novels that, as a student, Bellatrix associated with a group of students – including Rodolphus Lestrange, Severus Snape, Avery, Evan Rosier and Wilkes – who nearly all became Death Eaters.
In Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Draco becomes the new Seeker for the Slytherin Quidditch team after his father, Lucius Malfoy, donates new, high-quality Nimbus 2001 broomsticks.
Many have argued that this peacock was, in fact, Lucius Malfoy's Patronus. It was thought that this proved Lucius was, in point of fact, not a true Death Eater, as Death Eaters cannot produce Patronuses. Despite this, J. K. Rowling confirmed in an interview that this was merely an albino peacock.
Her real parents were Daneel and Dean Novak, Pureblooded wizards. Turns out Daneel was Tom Riddles younger sister, Daneel Riddle. Of course, the Riddles were related to Salzar Slytherin himself, and this made Hermione the living heir of Slytherin. The problem with being a female Slytherin heir, is that they're cursed.
In Harry Potter canon, Ginny is Sorted into Gryffindor, while Prince of Slytherin's Ginny is Sorted into Slytherin.

Ginny Weasley was able to speak Parseltongue while she was possessed by Tom Riddle's Diary, which enabled her to open the Chamber of Secrets.
Voldemort had waged psychological warfare on the Malfoys, and knowing that he held total power over them- he fully took advantage of his situation. He wielded his power to the point that they no longer wanted to follow him- but they were in too deep.
Malfoy hated all the attention Harry recieved . Malfoy thought Harry was a dark wizard, he tried to befriend Harry but he refused because of the way Malfoy treated Ron whom he already made friends with. That's why Malfoy hate Harry for turning him down.
Harry revealed that Draco was still very much alive, and she lied to her master in order to get closer to him. Narcissa may have concealed the truth from Voldemort to save her son, but she inadvertently helped Harry to victory in doing so.
Karkaroff was surprised when he met Harry Potter at Hogwarts. However, after Barty Crouch Jnr put Harry's name into the Goblet of Fire, Harry was chosen for the Triwizard Tournament. This made Karkaroff very angry, thinking that Harry and Dumbledore had cheated in order to win the Tournament.
The name of Draco Malfoy's owl in the Harry Potter series is called "Hedwig". I don't think we were ever told the name of Draco's owl, but Draco has the biggest owl of all in England, the Eurasian Eagle-Owl. With sinister orange-red eyes, he makes a perfect pet for a person like Draco.
He didn't care about the bird. His tears were due to the fact that since the bird had died, he had failed once more to repair the Vanishing Cabinets. Draco needed to repair them in order to give the Death Eaters a safe way to infiltrate Hogwarts.
Draco Malfoy's mother Narcissa was cold, cunning and devoted to the Dark Lord. But she was also a mother, which meant she was willing to risk everything to make sure her son was safe. When Harry survived Voldemort's Killing Curse for the second time, Narcissa pretended he was dead so she could get to Draco.
Voldemort intentionally made six Horcruxes, but when he used Avada Kedavra on Harry, he unintentionally created a seventh Horcrux. Instead of dying, Lily's love for Harry created a counter 'curse' known as Sacrificial Protection and saved Harry.
She asked him because if Draco was still alive, she had something to fight for. She had a reason to lie to Voldemort. If Draco is alive, she needs to get into the school to see him and protect him, and helping Harry feign death was the easiest way to do that.
