James Potter – One quarter of the Marauders and the father of Harry Potter, James was a proud member of Gryffindor and Seeker for their Quidditch team. Lily Potter – She might have been one of Head of Slytherin, Horace Slughorn's, favourite students, but Lily was in fact a Gryffindor.
Lily attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1971 to 1978. She was Sorted into Gryffindor House and was a member of the Slug Club. In her seventh year she was made Head Girl and began dating James Potter.
Lily Evans was muggle born. Voldemort is referring to her birth background. You are a witch/wizard once you're trained. But you will forever and always be of muggle birth, and not magical birth.
In the heat of the moment, Snape lost control and called Lily the forbidden word. He was embarrassed. He called her a mud-blood by accident because he was frustrated that lily did not like his closest friends.
This was exhibited by Harry during his own sorting in 1991 and possibly due to possessing some Slytherin qualities like his father. Ultimately, Albus was, in fact, sorted into Slytherin. He also inherited the paternal line of general curiosity, showing an interest in his father's fame and past.

Tom Riddle In 1943, Tom Riddle, the "Heir of Slytherin", opened the Chamber of Secrets to conduct a purge on Muggle- born students. This resulted in the death of Myrtle Warren, who eventually returned as a ghost. Riddle opened the Chamber again in 1993 through the use of one of his seven Horcruxes, his diary.
Despite Snape killing Dumbledore, it is learned that they had a special agreement for him to do so. When he died, it was revealed that his deep strong love for Lily Evans caused him to redeem himself, joining Dumbledore's cause for her protection (and, after her death, that of her son) from Lord Voldemort.
Though nominally a Muggle-born witch, Hermione is descended from the Dagworth-Granger family through her father's squib heritage. Though not an Ancient and Noble or Noble House, the Dagworth-Granger family is known for their natural potion-making skills.
Snape's tears, containing his memories, become the means for Harry to understand the professor's sacrifice, his love for Lily, and the necessity of facing Voldemort with the truth. While giving his tears was an impulsive act, it also symbolized his loyalty and dedication to Lily Potter's memory and Dumbledore's plan.
However, it's generally believed they met during Voldemort's exile in Albania after his failed attempt to kill Harry Potter. Voldemort, weakened and in a spectral form, was hiding in Albania and Nagini, likely already in her snake form as a Maledictus, encountered him there.
In 2007, Rowling was asked whether Dumbledore ever found true love. She replied that she always thought of Dumbledore as being homosexual, and that he had fallen in love with the corrupt wizard Gellert Grindelwald; Rowling did not explicitly state whether Grindelwald returned his affections.
Ariana Grande revealed she's a Slytherin.
Actor Tom Felton told Huffpost he thought Grande would be a Gryffindor. She revealed on Twitter the quiz told her she's a Slytherin, but she's down to change that up.
At the end before Harry goes to get the stone, Hermione says "Books, cleverness, there are far more important things like bravery". Something to that extent. She may have been very brainy, but she valued Gryfindor's attributes more than Ravenclaws.
But yeah, in the books James and Lily were 21 when they died. Sirius, Remus, Peter and Snape were all 30-31 at the start of the series.
In both the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows book and film, Hedwig dies during the Battle of the Seven Potters. In the book, Hedwig is hit by a random Avada Kedavra and instantly dies. In the movie, Hedwig is killed because she was trying to protect Harry.
George's twin brother, Fred Weasley, was killed when the Death Eaters attacked Hogwarts Castle, so George's life was likely significantly different after Voldemort's defeat. The two were hardly seen without the other before, and neither the books nor movies talk much of how George handled losing his partner in crime.
She even said that there's a whole essay about why Harry named his son after Snape. The decision was a part of who he was after the war. Jo then went on to tweet the reason why the deceased Potions Professor and former Hogwarts Headmaster was chosen as Al's namesake.
~~~~~ Sevrus Snape Fact ~~~~~ Since Snape was a half blood and Lily was muggle born it put his friendship with Lily under great strain, but their friendship was broken in their 5th year when Snape called Lily a mudblood and she never forgave him for that.
Not sure if this is meant to be something obvious, but I'm sure you all know that when Severus said "Turn to page 394" in their DADA books, hoping that they'll realise Lupin's a werewolf.
Harry is the heir of Gryffindor, although he had characteristics of both Slytherin (cleverness, resourcefulness, determination) and Gryffindor (bravery, honor, recklessness, chilvary). It is why Harry was able to claim the Sword of Gryffindor.
He trusted snape because snape had proven himself many times before. Voldemort took anyone that was magical and had his own ideas in common during his first crusade.
The creator gave this unique wand the ability to sleep and to wake up again when instructed by speaking Parseltongue to it, a rare gift that gave one the ability to speak with snakes, and a trait that was passed on through Slytherin's family.
