For most of the series' first five seasons and part of the seventh, Leo was the Charmed Ones' Whitelighter—a guardian angel and mentor in all things magical to the three sisters as they grow in their power. As a Whitelighter and later an Elder, Leo had the ability to orb (magically teleport) from place to place.
The sisters and Leo switch their powers back. Leo, himself, had been an Army medic in World War II. He died in the war and was offered the chance to become a Whitelighter. He accepted, but would give it all up for life with Piper.
During mid 2003, Leo became an Elder. When Leo released the spirits of the Goddesses (Athena, Aphrodite and Gaea) that possessed the Sisters (Piper, Phoebe and Paige) so that they could defeat the Titans, he was forced to stay up there after most of the Elders were killed.
Meanwhile, Leo becomes an Elder as a reward for his actions, turning Piper's life upside-down. Her loss and anger consumes her, allowing the Charmed Ones to destroy The Titans.
Prudence Melinda Halliwell
The third child and only daughter of Piper and Leo. Melinda was conceived after the Charmed Ones' last destined battle when Leo was brought back to Piper. She is also the third oldest of the nine children of the Charmed Ones.
At that time, a dying Piper (she had been poisoned by a Thorn Demon) called out to Leo, urged on by Cole Turner. Leo heard her and chose to "fall from grace". Leo thus gave up his powers and his Elder status and became a mortal human, but he got his memory back.
Leo sacrifices himself to finally defeat Gaea and is presumed dead by all of his friends. However, the rebuilt Festus resurrects Leo with the Physician's Cure and he finally fulfills his vow to rescue Calypso from Ogygia.
Mandatory budget cuts saw the exit of Dorian Gregory (who played Darryl Morris), and the demotion of Brian Krause, who played fan-favorite Leo Wyatt, Piper's husband. "We couldn't afford to have him in all 22 episodes," Kern told TVLine, "so Brian's character was frozen in Episode 10.

(F) Leo (July 23-August 22) – Telekinesis: Leos already know they have the power to accomplish anything. They have full control of their life, surroundings, and happiness. However, this power may go to their head as they would no longer have a need to move, and would likely become too lazy to fight crime.

The Angel of Destiny arranged for Leo to die in order to give the Charmed Ones the motivation to overcome a coming evil. The Angel of Death makes a reappearance, referencing the events of "Styx Feet Under". Piper summons both an Elder and an Avatar, calling back to Leo's history with both respective groups.
After being a Whitelighter, an Elder, and an Avatar, in 2005, Leo fell from grace and became mortal to live out a full life with his wife and children. Over the years of being a Whitelighter, Leo has helped the sisters out with demonic problems often.
With Leo gone, Piper becomes involved with her neighbor Dan Gordon, but she and Leo still have feelings for each other. In Morality Bites, when Piper and her sisters travel ten years into the future, she learns that she and Leo have married and divorced, and have a daughter named Melinda.
Leo Valdez is one of the main protagonists in The Heroes of Olympus series and one of the seven heroes of the Prophecy of Seven. He is a Greek demigod, the son of Hephaestus and Esperanza Valdez. Leo is currently the head counselor of the Hephaestus' Cabin.
Leo is resurrected by his mechanical dragon, Festus, and uses Odysseus's Astrolabe navigation tool to return to Ogygia.
