There is acceptable and appropriate and then there is wise. If you are not married but romantically interested in each other, it may not be wise to share the same bed. But if all you do is sleep, there's nothing wrong with it. Sexual intimacy is the issue.
We are to avoid sexual sin, including having sex while living together without being married. The Bible also makes it clear that we are not to engage in sexual immorality or fornication.
