Whether touching private parts is a sin depends on religious interpretation, but many Christian and Islamic views link it to lust or sexual immorality (porneia), suggesting it's sinful if done for sexual gratification outside of marriage, especially if accompanied by lustful thoughts, while some interpretations see exploring one's body as natural, focusing on honoring God with one's body, and Jewish views have differing opinions, sometimes linking it to wasting seed. The core issue often isn't the physical touch itself, but the intent (lust, self-gratification vs. hygiene/health) and context (single vs. married).
While masturbation itself isn't immoral, the sexual fantasies that usually go with it may be. Most women only masturbate when they are thinking about or looking at something sexual. Sexual fantasies about someone you are not married to are, as Jesus stated, "adultery of the heart."
While there is nothing inherently wrong with touching yourself to experience pleasure, masturbation becomes a moral issue because it involves sexuality. Our sexuality has intrinsic moral and spiritual implications.
Because Jesus commands against lust in favor of sexual purity, masturbation is not allowed. A second reason Christians should not masturbate is because of the biblical command to flee sexual immorality. In 1 Corinthians 6:18, the Apostle Paul uses that exact language, you should flee sexual immorality.
The Scripture does not explicitly say, “Thou shalt not masturbate.” However, it does speak of sexually immoral acts and about what is healthy. We know that most sexually immoral acts come from selfish, sinful desires and pain. We know that most of these acts are done secretly and have shame attached.
The unpardonable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Blasphemy includes ridicule and attributing the works of the Holy Spirit to the devil.
Pride is known as hubris (from the Ancient Greek ὕβρις) or futility; it is considered the original and worst of the seven deadly sins—the most demonic—on almost every list. Pride is also thought to be the source of the other capital sins. Pride is viewed as the opposite of humility.
Sometimes kissing can lead to sexual sin (Prov. 7:1-23). And even though kissing itself is not sinful, it may be sinful under certain circumstances. For example, if your conscience convicts you that you should not be kissing in a particular way, then it is wrong for you to do so.
The first time you have vaginal sex, that tissue can stretch open and cause pain and light bleeding. If you don't have pain or bleeding the first time, it's possible that your hymen has already been stretched open from bike riding, sports, or other everyday physical activities.
A "girl's sweet spot" generally refers to highly sensitive erogenous zones, with the clitoris being the primary source of intense pleasure for many women due to its thousands of nerve endings, but other common areas include the inner thighs, nipples, neck, and the G-spot (an area on the anterior vaginal wall). While the clitoris is universally central, individual sensitivity varies greatly, and finding pleasure often involves a combination of direct clitoral stimulation and exploring other erogenous zones.
A woman can orgasm multiple times in a row, with some studies suggesting many women can have several or even dozens, as female bodies often lack a significant refractory period like men; however, limits depend on individual factors, stimulation, physical stamina, and hormonal responses, with some reporting dozens while others find several are enough before needing a break for sensitivity or fatigue.
In Mark 3:29 Jesus says that “whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.” Matthew's account adds that even blasphemy against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but not blasphemy against the Holy Spirit (Matthew 12:31–32).
It's important to remember that cramping after orgasm or sex may be normal as the muscles contract, but should be short-lived and go away. "If it persists, it may indicate that there is something wrong," says Dr. Orbuch.
Pain during sexual arousal can be felt in many different places. You may feel pain externally, in your labia or vaginal opening. You may also feel pain deep inside, all the way near your cervix. Some women report stomach pain when they're sexually excited.
In the Bible the holy kiss was a sign of love, respect, friendship and honor. It was a mark of innocent affection. We can see numerous examples of this sort of kiss in the Bible: * Jacob kissed his father (Genesis 27:27). * Laban kissed Joseph (Genesis 29:13).
7 Ways to Resist Temptation
Simply put, fornication is a sin because it is inconsistent with the nature of sex, the nature of marriage, and the nature of the family. Marriage is a covenant bond between a man and woman (Mal. 2:14), a covenantal bond sealed by the one flesh union of sexual intimacy (Gen. 2:24).
Considering pride as a major sin peaking in self-deification, Lucifer (Hêlêl) became the template for the devil. As a result, Lucifer was identified with the devil in Christianity and in Christian popular literature, as in Dante Alighieri's Inferno, Joost van den Vondel's Lucifer, and John Milton's Paradise Lost.
Ranked in order of least evil to most evil like in Dante's Divine Comedy, the seven deadly sins are:
10 sins that often slip by as “OK” in our daily life:
God will forgive all of your sins.
It depends wholly, completely, and to the fullest degree on Jesus Christ. Romans 5:18–21 gives us all the reassurance we need to believe that all sins are forgiven in Christ.
GREED or AVARICE: The inordinate love of and desire for earthly possessions. Amassing a fortune and desiring to accumulate more than others is greed. Next to anger, lust and envy, more crimes have been committed due to greed than any other deadly sin.
Reserved Sins?
The female sexual response is thought to be significantly more varied than that of men, and women are thought to be more capable than men of attaining multiple orgasms through further sexual stimulation, suggesting a shorter or absent refractory period in some women.
But for a lot of people, bawling your eyes out post-nut is a super common reaction, according to sexologist Lauren French. "Most people have big reactions post sex, sex is a really big deal," Lauren told The Hook Up. "Pleasure is a big deal. Orgasm is a big deal."
