A young boy who was raised by his mother Kotoha for a short time until she was murdered by a demon, later revealed as Upper Rank Two, Doma of the Twelve Kizuki.
Sometime after this incident Takaharu once again returned to see Inosuke with his grandfather as the old man reads the cloth attached to boy's diaper and reads from it to tell him his name, Inosuke Hashibira.
He was born on 26 March 1900. He was a grocery store operator. His family includes Shimako Inosuke (wife; in Japan), Moto Inosuke (mother), Tamido Inosuke (father), and Keiko Inosuke (daughter).
The Boar-Headed, self-proclaimed "God of the Mountains," Inosuke Hashibira, is an eccentric character in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Inosuke was raised by wild boars in the mountains and created his own Breathing Technique called the Beast Breathing, which is based on wild animal instincts.
Regarding, Inosuke has said Tanjiro's name correct in one of the Taisho secrets, once talking to Tomioka and in chapter 201.
It is a relatively simple name, Tanjiro Kamado, but Inosuke can only seem to remember it once out of every seven times. Sometimes going as far as giving him completely different names that are nowhere near his name. Examples include Kamaboko Gonpachiro, Itadaki Tontaro, and Shakakiri Gengoro.

Although Inosuke refuses to acknowledge that he has met him before, Doma explores his memories and reveals that he met Inosuke when he was a child, and was responsible for killing his mother, causing Inosuke to fill with hatred and engage in combat with the Demon.

Tanjiro Kamado (Japanese: 竈門 炭治郎, Hepburn: Kamado Tanjirō) is a fictional character and the protagonist of Koyoharu Gotouge's manga Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
The warrior Muzan feared was a swordsman named Yoriichi Tsugikuni. Yoriichi was the only slayer before Tanjiro who came close to killing Muzan, and the flashback of their fight occurred in Chapter 187.
Jigoro was a very short, elderly man with visible forehead wrinkles and large, slanted eyes, as well as a straight scar with even six prongs running along his right cheekbone.
To him, his mother was the sow that raised him. She eventually passed away, so it is possible that Inosuke wears a boar's head as a remembrance of her. This would explain why he almost never removes it, the head is familiarity and comfort.

Akaza was also one of Muzan's favorite demons out of all his subordinates. The reason behind this is Akaza's extreme loyalty to his master. The Upper Rank Three demon was always sent away on special missions, something the Upper Rank 1 and 2 were often denied of.
When he was twenty years old, Doma met Muzan Kibutsuji, who granted him power and turned him into a demon.
Inosuke was found by wild boars, who protected and raised him as their own. Having almost no memory of his birth mother, Inosuke considered a female boar as his mother. It was revealed in the Demon Slayer manga that the mask Inosuke wears was originally the head of the mother boar that raised him.
But that changed with the newest episode as when Tanjiro jumps into the fight between Inosuke, Zenitsu and Daki, Inosuke actually flips the script and calls Tanjiro by his actual name only to refer to Zenitsu as "Monichi" soon after.
Poison Resistance: Inosuke was able to resist and survive the effect of Upper Moon Six's poison although it was considered incredibly deadly, which suggests that he may have complete immunity to some poisonous substances.
