According to all the myths, Eros was beautiful, but also a permanent source of trouble for both the gods and the mortals. He appeared and threw his arrows, causing insane love and at the same time, suffering to people.
Sometimes Eros is playful & harmlessly mischievous but at other times he is cruel with his surprise attacks. More commonly than all these other versions, though, Eros was regarded as the winged acolyte or assistant of Aphrodite, goddess of Love, Beauty, and Desire.
According to an early myth, Gaia (goddess of the Earth) and Eros were the source of all creation. Literary references of the sixth and fifth centuries B.C. often portray Eros as a cruel, capricious being who causes burning desire.
However, when Eros laid eyes on Psyche, he was so completely mesmerized by her beauty that he forgot to carry out his mother's orders. In fact, he fell in love with Psyche himself.

Whilst Zeus and Poseidon – Hades' brothers – are widely known for their affairs, Hades remained loyal to Persephone.
Eros is an intense desire for an object. It's more of a selfish love because it depends on the value of its object (i.e. the individual's virtues—usually goodness and beauty—and a desire to possess those virtues). It can even arise from the individual identifying some aspects of themselves in the object.
Eros's hatred for Apollo worsens after he learns that Apollo raped his best friend Persephone. While Eros has promised Persephone not to reveal what Apollo has done, he has trouble controlling his rage whenever he is around him.
In Greek mythology, Eros is the god of love, and Thanatos is the god of death, making them opposite of one another.
Ultimately, in the later satirical poets, he is represented as a blindfolded child, the precursor to the chubby Renaissance Cupid, whereas in early Greek poetry and art, Eros was depicted as a young adult male who embodies sexual power, and a profound artist.
From that moment on, Eros and Psyche lived happily together in their lovely palace, which was always full of roses and other flowers.
The reason Eros was blind is not entirely clear. Some versions of the myth suggest that he was either born blind or became blind soon after birth. In other versions, however, it is suggested that he was made blind by Zeus as punishment for playing a role in making Zeus' wife, Hera, jealous.
The old story is that eros induces self-destruction by way of emotion: it controls, redirects, and poisons one's feelings. But eros commits crimes of passion because, first and foremost, it commits crimes of thought. It attacks the heart by way of the mind. Eros is an intellectual monster.

He has superhuman strength (Class 25), durability, metabolism, and regenerative powers. Immune to terrestrial disease, he is practically immortal, and also ages far more slowly than most humanoids; he is over 1000 years old.
PSYKHE (Psyche) was the goddess of the soul and the wife of Eros (Roman Cupid) god of love. She was once a mortal princess whose extraordinary beauty earned the ire of Aphrodite (Roman Venus) when men began turning their worship away from the goddess towards the girl.
Originally named Eron, he was rechristened Eros at the age of 5, given his interest in the opposite sex. Eros grew up to be a fun-loving, carefree womanizer in contrast to his brother Thanos, a power-hungry, misanthropic schemer.
Eros is a primal love that comes as a natural instinct for most people. It's a passionate love displayed through physical affection. These romantic behaviors include, but are not limited to, kissing, hugging and holding hands. This love is a desire for another person's physical body.
