Angel is primarily a vampire from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer universe, cursed with a soul, but his existence blurs lines as he often fights demonic forces and has a complex, sometimes demonic, nature, though he's distinct from a typical demon. He's an ancient Irish vampire who was once the villainous Angelus, but a curse restored his soul, giving him a conscience, and he seeks redemption, leading him to become a heroic, albeit tormented, figure.

Angel is a unique vampire, in the sense that he has a soul and feels more empathy, and does not kill humans for blood. A curse was placed on Angelus, Angel's alter ego, causing him to become a vampire with a soul. This curse can only be broken when Angel experiences true happiness.

His angelic name is HEYLEL, meaning (morning star) and "Lucifer" in Latin. Blessing Makae i did not say God named him lucifer. However he is decribed and is called lucifer in the book of Isaiah. John the apostle also described him as the old Serpent, dragon, devil .

The current arc reveals Buffy becoming pregnant after a drunken one-night stand. Throughout the issue, Buffy wrestles with the decision and comes to a conclusion that she's not ready to raise a child.
Tara had become popular among fans, and Whedon and series writer David Fury decided that her death would elicit a strong response, something that Whedon felt sure was the correct course to take.
The season 5 episode "The Body" is the saddest "Buffy" episode in its run and certainly one of the most tragic television episodes of all time. You know the premise: Buffy's mom, Joyce (Kristine Sutherland), dies of a brain aneurysm, and the whole gang has to face the devastating fallout of her death.
