Parental Guidance (PG) PG-rated content is not recommended for viewing by people under the age of 15 without guidance from parents, teachers or guardians.
General viewing, but some scenes may be unsuitable for young children. A PG film should not unsettle a child aged around eight or older. Unaccompanied children of any age may watch, but parents are advised to consider whether the content may upset younger, or more sensitive, children.

It totally depends on your kid. Lots of kids are ready for the movie theater around age 3, while whereas others will be better off waiting until they're 5 or 6.
Based on personal experience with my own kids, friends' experiences with their children, and online parenting groups and forums, parents often bring their kids to the movies for the first time when they're around 3 or 4 years old.

Young children
When your children are young (especially for those under 5 years old), it's best to stick with G-rated movies. Even then, it's good to have some knowledge of what the movie is about first.
Toddlers 18 months to 24 months old can start to enjoy some screen time with a parent or caregiver. Children this age can learn when an adult is there to reinforce lessons. By ages 2 and 3, it's OK for kids to watch up to 1 hour a day of high-quality educational programming.
You're never too young for the magic of film and most of our cinemas welcome babies for titles rated U, PG and 12A. But, this is NOT for kids. There is very violent scenes, including head shots, brains oozing out of people's heads from those shots, and Deadpool uses his swords to impale people, slice their heads off, and slice them in half. There is also a LOT of sexual scenes.
Stranger Things 4 is rated TV-14 for horror elements and language which means some content may not be suitable for kids under 17.
