Bactade was an edible form of bacta that was introduced some time prior to 9 ABY. A muddy liquid that was dispensed in bottles, bactade possessed good healing qualities, however it had a terrible, chalky taste.
Despite its highly regenerative properties, some individuals harbored negative feelings towards the substance, finding its viscosity somewhere between liquid and slime. Additionally, most bacta patients felt as if they were being swallowed alive upon being submerged in the substance.
Bacta tanks were large vessels filled with a liquid healing agent and used to treat seriously injured patients. To promote healing, patients were completely submerged and used breathing masks while recuperating. Clone troopers were treated in bacta at facilities such as the Kaliida Shoals Medical Center.
Bacta could be administered via disposable bacta patches, direct injection, consumption (via bactade), a salve, a Bio-Bacta tank, or submersion in a standard bacta tank.
Bacta spray was a form of bacta used to heal minor wounds. They were the main component of bacta patches, and small vials of it were commonly found in medpacs. Bacta spray could be put on almost any ailment to keep the injury at bay until a proper medic could arrive.
In the Return of the Jedi, Star Wars episode 6, Boba Fett fell into the Sarlacc pit that partially digested Boba and got him severely wounded. This bounty hunter chooses to sleep in a bacta tank to heal the injuries he got from the Sarlacc and Tusken Raiders, who later befriended him [1].
This was the most likely reason he needs to spend so much time in the Bacta Pod, which would be similar to Darth Vader in Rogue One. It was then confirmed in Episode 4 that he had been using the chamber to recover from the acid burns he'd suffered while inside the digestive sac of the Sarlacc.
Bacta can heal anything short of dead bodies and severed limbs.
Bacta Tanks are person-sized pods filled with a gelatinous liquid called “bacta” that possesses incredible rapid healing abilities.
Usually, when someone is swallowed by a Sarlaac, the beast injects the victim with a painful neurotoxin to immobilize it. Then, over thousands of years, the prey is digested alive. Boba skipped that last part, but he may have some of the neurotoxin in his system, and it may be causing complications.
Boba was created on the planet Kamino as a result of an arrangement between the Sith Lord Darth Tyranus and Jango Fett, a Mandalorian who served as the template of the Grand Army of the Republic.
A powerful pursuit craft made famous by Jango Fett in the days of the Republic, this ship was inherited by Boba Fett for his career as a bounty hunter.
He would have become the most powerful Jedi/Sith that there ever was. He would have enabled Force powers of the Light or Dark Side, that we have not yet seen in anyone in Star Wars.
History. Bacta tanks already existed during the Clone Wars, when the Galactic Republic used them to treat its injured soldiers. A bacta tank was located in Darth Vader's castle on Mustafar, where the Dark Lord would relax and meditate outside of his life support armor with a modicum of comfort.

It turns out that the whole process was 8 hours long, and Vader was kept awake for all of it. This was decided by Sidious so Vader could feel every ounce of pain in order to make him angrier and stronger. Many of his bones had to be replaced by durasteel. As for his organs, many were also synthetic.
Omega, a female clone of Jango Fett, was said to be the only clone with unaltered DNA other than Boba Fett, who was as a son to Jango rather than just another clone.
Darth Bane's backstory is established in Darth Bane: Path of Destruction by Drew Karpyshyn. He is born as Dessel on the planet Apatros, the son of a miner named Hurst. An abusive alcoholic, Hurst blames the boy for the death of his wife in childbirth, and often calls him the "Bane" of his existence.
Bacta tanks are pretty magic, but they're not that magic. Simply put, Vader's wounds were far too serious for bacta to heal entirely. If bacta were able to do that, then neither Anakin nor Luke would have prosthetic arms.
A bacta tank and a supply of bacta were expensive, the tank alone typically costing 100,000 credits from 32 BBY to 8 ABY, and so such medical equipment was usually found only in hospitals, on board capital ships, and within major military bases.
Boba Fett's origins explained
As it was revealed in Attack of the Clones, yes, Boba Fett is a clone. Though Jango is considered his “father,” he is nothing more than another clone of Jango who was created on Kamino. There is a difference between Boba and the rest of the clones who were part of the army, though.
The most prominent color of Boba Fett's armor, the color green in Mandalorian culture symbolizes one's value of duty. Being a bounty hunter, Boba Fett has a distinct responsibility to himself and his employers. This is a sense of duty he values dearly, a commitment that is representative of his identity.
Boba Fett ended up inside Sarlacc's stomach [1]. While being digested alive and close to being breathless, Boba Fett was exposed to the digestive enzymes of the giant intergalactic monster. Due to this, Boba Fett's skin was burned and ended up scarred.
See, Boba Fett originally wasn't going to be a bounty hunter. He was going to be a “Supertrooper,” and the white color of the design was meant to reflect that. As time went on, however, they moved away from that idea and more towards having him as unique character.
