To ask Allah for healing, make sincere dua (supplication) using specific prophetic prayers, acknowledging Allah as the ultimate Healer (Ash-Shāfī), reciting Quranic verses like the 3 Quls (Surahs Ikhlas, Falaq, Nas), and combining prayer with trust (yaqeen) and seeking medical treatment, focusing on sincerity and acknowledging His attributes.
O Allah, heal me from this sickness and grant me complete recovery. Alhamdulillah for the ease You have given 🙏🏾🙏🏾
“O Allah, I hope for Your mercy. Do not leave me to myself even for a blink of an eye. Correct all of my affairs for me. There is none worthy of worship except You.”
To get your dua (supplication) accepted, focus on sincerity, perfect your etiquette (praise Allah, send blessings on the Prophet), have firm yaqeen (certainty) in His response, perform good deeds (like charity), repent for sins, and make dua at key times (like after prayers or during hardship) with humility and focus, understanding Allah responds in the best way, even if not instantly as you expect.
Forbidden prayer times
As mentioned, Muslims are banned from praying during 3 main times: sunrise, sunset, and Zawwal. The prostration of recitation (sajda al tilawa) is permissible to be offered during these times though it is disliked (tanzihan).
Reciting “Astaghfirullah” (seeking forgiveness from Allah) multiple times, such as 1000 times, is considered a form of dhikr and is believed to carry spiritual benefits.
If you feel down, do not hesitate to ask Him over and over again, and to go into sujood and ask Him to fulfill your need because that is the closest that we are to Him. Ask, and ask with full Yaqeen and faith that He *can*, and certainly *will* respond to you!
Du'a to cure illness
It is Sunnah to read the 3 Quls (Surah al-Ikhlas, Surah al-Falaq and Surah an-Nas) three times in the morning and evening, three times before going to sleep, once after every Salāh, and when you are sick.
The Meaning of “Barakallahu Feek”
According to Islam education expert Belal Elkadri, “barakallahu feek” is an Islamic expression that means “May Allah bless you” in Arabic. It's a kind and polite way to tell someone thank you and express your gratitude. You can also use it to send someone good wishes and blessings.
Seeking forgiveness is usually done by saying “Astaghfirullah” or the longer version “Astaghfirullāha rabbī wa-atūbu ilayhi)”. As a beloved Sunnah, the Prophet (PBUH) would say 'Astaghfirullah' more than 100 times daily, and this simple but powerful du'a is one of the best du'as for forgiveness.
Dua for Miracles: "O Allah, You are the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the Knower of the unseen and the seen. You are the Most Merciful and the Most Powerful. I ask You, by Your infinite wisdom and boundless mercy, to grant me a miracle that will bring ease to my heart and clarity to my path.
In Islam, the raised index finger (al-musabbiḥa) symbolizes the core concept of Tawhid, the indivisible oneness of God (Allah) and the declaration of faith (Shahada), affirming there is no god but God. Muslims use this gesture during prayer (Salah) and sometimes when saying the declaration of faith, pointing to the singular nature of God, signifying faith, unity, and praise.
Furthermore, as recorded in the Qur'an, Prophet Ibrahim a.s. acknowledged that it is Allah who heals all illnesses. “And when I am ill, it is He who heals me” (QS. Asy-Syu'ara: 80). Prophet Ibrahim's prayer in this surah is an important lesson that every illness comes only with Allah's permission.
God of healing and restoration, I thank You today for Your mercy, love and kindness towards me, in the name of Jesus. 2. Lord God, heal my body and life from every sickness, illness, pain, infirmity or wound. Restore me completely, in the name of Jesus.
You may misjudge, be led by your desires, or lack wisdom, so you ask the One who constantly manages the affairs of the world not to leave you to yourself. If you are in distress, you should be hopeful of Allah's Mercy and expect that He will take care of all your problems.
Dua for Shifa (Healing)
“Allahumma Rabban-nas, adhhib al-ba'sa, ishfi anta al-Shafi, la shifa'a illa shifa'uka, shifa'an la yughadiru saqama.” Translation: “O Allah! The Lord of mankind, remove this disease and cure him. You are the Great Curer.
These surahs provide protection from harm, including physical ailments and spiritual afflictions. Several Quranic verses are known as Ayat Al-Shifa (verses of healing), including: Surah Al-Isra (17:82): “And We send down from the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe...”

Hadith. It has been narrated from Muhammad al-Baqir that he said: "Allah has not been worshiped by anything better than tasbih Hazrat Zahra—from the aspect of praise and dhikr; Allah would grant it to Fatimah if there was/is a better practice rather than this tasbih."
