Venom's strength is immense, often portrayed as lifting around 75 tons, making him stronger than Spider-Man and capable of overpowering other powerful beings, but he has notable weaknesses, especially to fire and sonic attacks, which can severely incapacitate him and his symbiote. His power level fluctuates depending on his host and situation, but he generally possesses superhuman strength, durability, healing, and shape-shifting abilities via his symbiote, allowing him to create tendrils and weapons, though he's often outmatched by truly cosmic or god-tier threats.
Though the Hulk is far superior in strength, Venom actually holds his own and puts up a good fight with his enhanced agility and reflexes.
As a result, Carnage is far more violent, powerful, and deadly than Venom. Kasady and the symbiote would then be the main antagonist in "Maximum Carnage" and Kasady would continually be the most recurring character to use the Carnage symbiote in many publications.
Physically, Venom is stronger than Spider Man. Once Spider Man removed the symbiote from himself it found Eddie Brock. Eddie was already very strong for a non enhanced human. When the symbiote bonded with Eddie it combined the strength of Spider Man with Eddies.
Venom contains a massive amount of HP because of his role as a Vanguard. This is why Wolverine is the ideal counter for the symbiote since he can instantly rack up Rage. This will also boost his damage. If Venom ends up running away from a complex situation, Wolverine's Feral Leap ability can prevent him.
The Venom symbiote gives its host superhuman endurance, agility and strength. The alien further augments its host's strength (lifting 40 tons) and reflexes. The costume replicates Spider-Man's ability to cling to walls by controlling the flux of interatomic attraction between molecular boundary layers.
Random encounter Venom literally eats his head. If Batman knows his weaknesses then Batman almost definitely wins short of a speed blitz which is unlikely. Batman can't even beat Spider-Man, who has beaten Venom on multiple occasions. Bats wouldn't stand a chance against Venom.
Carnage is a sentient being of pure evil, seen by how moments after the Symbiote was born, he had wreaked havoc in prison during his escape. Carnage also has a deep hatred for his father, Venom, wanting to kill him so that he could be the only Symbiote on the planet and therefore unstoppable.
However, Venom has a couple of key weaknesses that Spider-Man can exploit. High-frequency sonic technology will cause the symbiote to flee, even leading it to break its hold on the host. Fire is also something the symbiote is deathly afraid of - he will cower in the face of flames.
Venom can probably shift his skin to mitigate the damage from being eternally on fire, while Groot seems to be more flammable and less able to manage the flames. I'd give this to Venom 9/10.
Characters like Maxwell Lord, Lex Luthor, and Alfred Pennyworth have found ways to defeat Superman through cunning and strategy. Even powerful beings like Godzilla, Brainiac, Darkseid, and Wonder Woman have proven capable of besting Superman in battle.
It depends. If it's a straight fight, no outside items used, Venom would eventually win. But if Wolverine gets to use the environment which might give him access to fire or extreme sound, Wolverine wins. Venom vs Wolverine is always some type of battle of attrition.
Looks like Hulk has a lot of work to do in (Avengers Secret War). The Hulk Once Lifted 150BILLIONS of Tons in Marvel Comics. HE held an entire mountain range above his head for an extended period of time The Hulk got to prove his strength during Marvel's Secret Wars, holding an entire mountain on his back.
The snake with the world's deadliest venom
The bite of an inland or western taipan—Oxyuranus microlepidotus, also called, appropriately, the fierce snake—delivers a veritable witch's brew of toxins.
Batman one million is the sole warden of a jail the size of a planet. He's got telepathic powers laced into his attacks, he can fly, create holograms, and is capable of knocking Batman out with one hit. And he keeps up with Superman one million who has fifth dimensional imp powers.
Most Powerful Marvel Characters
One super fact about Superman is that he once lifted 200 quintillion tons with just one hand in All-Star Superman #1 (2005).
The strength level of a symbiotic user varies, as the natural strength of the host raises the combined strength. Carnage could lift over 80 tons and never exercised, while Eddie obsessively lifted weights but Venom tended to vary from the 25-50 ton range. More recent offspring are even stronger.
We all know Venom is weak against fire and sound but is there a specific potency for these things to actually 'hurt' him? But I just can't imagine how Venom will be able fight properly if he's up against enemies more likely Kraven's hunters using all that gunfire, loud explosives which are most likely hot as hell too.
Venom fought Hulk, Superman, and Juggernaut around the same time. The only Difference is Superman was losing his strength due to Final Night. Check the panels and dates of the comics.
Some people are completely immune to his Spider-Sense. Venom is known to act without setting off his Spider-Sense. This is because the symbiote acquired all knowledge of Peter's Spider-Sense and adapted to combat it.
