If fungal problems are an issue, it is best to apply Seasol and PowerFeed in the morning to avoid moisture residue on the foliage overnight.

For new lawns or turf apply 100 grams of Seasol Lawn + Soil Booster per square metre into the soil prior to seeding or laying turf. For best results apply an application of Seasol Lawn & Turf Starter or Seasol the Seaweed solution every 7 – 10 days while establishing.
Seasol and PowerFeed liquids are fine to use for up to five years. The date on the back of the container starting with “DOM DD/MM/YY” is the date the product was manufactured.
Summer mowing
Mow in the cool of the day (early morning or late in the afternoon) to reduce stress. After mowing apply Seasol hose-on to strengthen leaf blades to reduce stress from heat and drought.
No, you should not Seasol before rain since the rain will just wash it away. The best time to apply Seasol is in the morning or evening when it's cooler outside. Applying it during the heat of the day can cause the product to evaporate too quickly.
Ingestion Ingestion of this product may irritate the gastric tract causing nausea and vomiting. Inhalation Inhalation of product vapours may cause irritation of the nose, throat and respiratory system. Skin May be irritating to skin. The symptoms may include redness, itching and swelling.
It should never be applied undiluted – water is the carrier to ensure proper coverage. Once diluted it should be used within 24 hours. Seasol is filtered to 150 microns so that it is suitable for application with any conventional spray equipment including boom-sprays or irrigation equipment.
The seaweed solution is then extracted and is sold as 100% pure Seasol liquid concentrate. For lawns it is recommended you apply 100ml per 9 litres of water, every 2-4 weeks for best results. Seasol have also developed a product specifically for lawns that contain a liquid fertiliser component.
Seasol for Lawns will have benefits for your soil and your plants roots. With a rate of 7% nitrogen it will provide some benefit, but it's our recommendation that a higher level of nitrogen be used for sufficient boost in colour.

Spray thoroughly over the foliage every 2 to 4 weeks. Any liquid applied to foliage in direct sunlight can cause burning. Avoid use on plants when they are in direct sunlight, particularly if magnified through a window.
Where root rot occurs, remove affected plants. Some fungal treatments are available to treat soils. Always improve the soil well before planting by incorporating your own compost and organic matter and/or Seasol Super Compost. It is a premium compost mix specially formulated to revitalise soils for healthy growth.
If there's no water available to water lawns during summer, don't fertilise. Where possible continue to liquid feed with Seasol for Lush Green Lawns or Seasol for Buffalo Lawns to help build a resilient lawn.
