How long is the temple marriage ceremony? The sealing ceremony usually takes only about 20 to 30 minutes. The temple will tell you how soon before your sealing ceremony you should arrive at the temple to be properly prepared.
Sealings. Faithful Latter Day Saints believe civil marriages are dissolved at death, but that a couple who has been sealed in a temple will be married beyond physical death and the resurrection if they remain faithful. This means that in the afterlife they and their family will be together forever.
Children born to parents who have been sealed in the temple are born in the covenant. Thus, they are part of an eternal family, based upon their faithfulness. Children who are not born in the covenant can also become part of an eternal family once their natural or adoptive parents are sealed to one another.
In 1998, the LDS Church changed the policy and now also allows women to be sealed to more than one man. A woman, however, may not be sealed to more than one man at a time while she is alive. She may only be sealed to subsequent partners after she has died.
LDS brides getting sealed in the temple have two options: you can wear your white temple dress for the sealing, or your wedding gown. If you choose to wear your wedding gown in the temple, it must be white, floor-length, long-sleeved, and high-necked with no collarbone showing.
Remember, I recommend wearing garments over your bra, from a bra perspective, because it will fit SO.
Only adult or senior members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who have made sacred promises in the temple can wear temple garments. Their purpose is to remind about the commitments made with the Lord in the temple.
In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the word sealing refers to the joining together of a man and a woman and their children for eternity. This sealing can be performed only in a temple by a man who has the priesthood, or the authority from God.
Not anyone can actually marry in the temple, but only men and women who are faithful members of the Church. Marrying a non-member is allowed, however, the marriage ceremony cannot be done in the temple.
The standard doctrine of the Church is monogamy, as it always has been, as indicated in the Book of Mormon (Jacob chapter 2): “Wherefore, my brethren, hear me, and hearken to the word of the Lord: For there shall not any man among you have save it be one wife; and concubines he shall have none. …
Still, many ex-Mormons are completely shunned and have given up spouses, children, and the ability to enter Mormon temples to witness life events of family members. Ex-Mormons in geographic locations away from major enclaves of Mormon culture such as Utah may experience less stigmatization, however.
But here's a fact you need to know: children can be sealed to only two parents. So if you were born to your parents after they were sealed in the temple (born in the covenant) or were sealed to them in the temple yourself, you are still sealed to them—both of them—even after a divorce.
Do not tickle children, change diapers, hold children, or allow children to sit on your lap. These and other actions could appear inappropriate or be misinterpreted. Politely decline to babysit children of any age.
The couple kneels at an altar in a special sealing room. The words of the ordinance, like the sacrament prayer, are already written: the sealer (the temple worker who performs the sealing) asks the couple if they take each other as husband and wife. Then he seals them to one another and pronounces blessings upon them.
If a man gets a divorce, he can be sealed again to another wife without “canceling” the first sealing, while women are required to get that cancellation.
According to the Utah-based faith, adult Mormons are required to wear special garments, a type of underwear that covers the shoulders and upper thigh, once they participate in sacred ordinances in an LDS temple. However, Section 21.1. 42 of "Handbook 2" states that the garments may be removed for swimming.
In keeping with the Mormon belief that heaven is full of millions of spirits awaiting an earthly body, birth control and abortion are also forbidden. Since the female body is regarded as the tabernacle of the spirit and the residence of God's spirit children, a high priority is given to prenatal care.

Within the Mormon culture, women are expected to marry, raise children, and be a "helpmeet" to their husbands.
A man who holds the priesthood shows perfect moral fidelity to his wife and gives her no reason to doubt his faithfulness. A husband is to love his wife with all his heart and cleave unto her and none else (see D&C 42:22–26).

For example, they have recently held that clean, neatly trimmed and managed beards and long hair for men—as well as certain other fashions that to some might seem 'trendy'—are acceptable for the temple, provided they are not inherently offensive or vulgar.
They're like $6 for a set and they're the same cost everywhere in the world, which has to be a huge financial burden for the church. Also, please remember that they aren't simply underwear, they are holy garments with a purpose.
