Often, saying "like" is a way to fill in awkward pauses in speech or to buy yourself some time while you think of what to say, but sometimes not saying anything at all can be a better move. Each time you can feel yourself saying "like," pause instead and give yourself a minute to think.
Just be simple and direct. Say, "I wanted to tell you that I have a crush on you" or "I really like hanging out with you, and I want you to know that I have feelings for you." When you tell your crush, look them in the eye and relax your body.

Do Something Fun Together. Do something active next time you hang out — a hike, a walk on the beach, or a rollercoaster ride. Any experience that generates excitement and creates ~butterflies~ is not only fun but memorable too. Your crush will associate you with a good time and a fuzzy feeling in his/her chest.
