You can make homemade mite killer with sprays using ingredients like neem oil, essential oils (clove, eucalyptus, peppermint, tea tree), rubbing alcohol, vinegar, and dish soap, mixed with water, to smother or dehydrate mites on plants or surfaces; remember to test first, spray thoroughly (especially undersides of leaves), and reapply regularly for best results, as these work best for lighter infestations.
Wash bedding weekly.
Wash all sheets, blankets, pillowcases and bedcovers in hot water that is at least 130 F (54.4 C) to kill dust mites and remove allergens. If bedding can't be washed hot, put the items in the dryer for at least 15 minutes at a temperature above 130 F (54.4 C) to kill the mites.
1 cup of distilled water. 1/4 cup of white vinegar or rubbing alcohol (acts as a natural cleaner) 20 drops of essential oils. Various studies have shown the effectiveness of a range of oils that are effective in affecting dust mites.

Stronger Cleaning Solution: Mix 60ml of baking soda with water and add 150ml of vinegar in a 2-litre sprayer for tougher spots.

Treatment
To reduce the number of dust mites in the home, do the following:
High-Temperature Washing (60°C or above) Washing your sheets, pillowcases, and mattress protectors in water that's at least 60°C is one of the most effective ways to kill dust mites instantly. This study found 60°C washing killed 100% of mites, while 40°C failed.
Use essential oils
Essential oils contain compounds that repel or kill insects, including dust mites. The best essential oils for getting rid of dust mites are clove, rosemary, and eucalyptus oil. Add 20 drops of oil to four ounces of witch hazel, and spray your mattress, couch, drapes, and other dust mite hangouts.
Vinegar: Mix vinegar with water and spray it on areas like bedding, sofas, and curtains. It helps reduce mites but needs to be combined with other methods for better results. Essential Oils: Tea tree oil or eucalyptus oil can be diluted in water and sprayed onto bedding and soft surfaces.

DeMite is highly effective at removing dust mites from bedding, with its effects typically lasting 30 days (or even more). Using DeMite in warm or cold water helps preserve fabric quality over time.
Natural and Organic Methods. Rubbing Alcohol: A mixture of 1 cup of rubbing alcohol and 4 cups of water sprayed on plants can kill spider mites by dehydrating them.
Another great way to use borax for killing dust mites is to wash your bedding and sheets with half of a cup of it. These measures will destroy dust mites for good. Although natural, borax is toxic to both cats and dogs.
