Children might experience itching or rash on their head, face, neck, palms, and on the soles of their feet. You might also notice burrows on your skin. These are tiny, raised, grayish-white or flesh-colored lines on your body. They're caused by the mites digging their way into your skin.

Rash: Small red bumps, nodules, or pimple-like irritations, which are most commonly located on the webbing between fingers, on the inner part of the wrist, under the arms, and on the elbows, knees, and along the belt line can occur. Scabies does not usually affect the face and scalp.

Essential oils contain compounds that repel or kill insects, including dust mites. The best essential oils for getting rid of dust mites are clove, rosemary, and eucalyptus oil. Add 20 drops of oil to four ounces of witch hazel, and spray your mattress, couch, drapes, and other dust mite hangouts.
This causes severe itching and, if left untreated, can cause bacterial infections, swelling of the ear canal and eventually partial or total deafness. The mites can also travel all over your cat's body, causing itching and swelling.

An apple cider vinegar bath can help get rid of the mange mites. Mix ½ cup of apple cider vinegar with ½ cup of Borax and warm water. Be sure the Borax is fully dissolved before sponging the mixture on your dog's skin and coat.
