While people don't get any notification when someone restricts them, they can sense it by looking at your profile, as they won't be able to find any of your Private posts. This absence of private (i.e., friends only) posts and other indicators can help them guess that you've restricted them.
What happens to a profile after it is restricted? When a profile is restricted on Facebook, it means that its visibility is limited to its friends. The restricted person's posts are only visible to their friends, and they cannot see posts from anyone else who is not their friend.
Check Their Activity Status
When you get restricted, it removes your ability to view the person's activity status. That means you won't be able to see the last time they were online, or the last time they checked their messages. You can try to check the activity status of the person who you suspect has restricted you.
It means that the other user has not received your message. You will also not be shown the read status for that message. To confirm your suspicions, you can try and open their Facebook profiles. There is no alert to show if you have been muted or not. However, you can use intuition to predict if somebody has muted you on messenger. If you send a message to someone, but it has not been received, it will read 'message sent. It means the recipient is not active on messenger.
To find out if someone has blocked you on Messenger, you should first send them a message. If your message is not delivered, even after the recipient has been online, you're most likely blocked. To tell if your message isn't delivered, it will have an empty circle with a check mark for an icon.
Temporary blocks from sharing posts on Facebook can happen if you've: Posted a lot in a short amount of time. Shared posts that were marked as unwelcome. Shared something that goes against our Community Standards.
