How close it gets to the Falls is truly incredible! The ponchos worked surprisingly well and everyone only left with wet feet (because the ponchos don't cover your feet). The boat ride is quick (about 20 minutes) but the views from both the boat and from the observation deck are incredible. Highly recommend!
The views are better on the Canadian side because you can see the front of the falls across the Niagara River. You get only lateral views on the American side, but you can get closer to the falls there. The Rainbow Bridge connects the USA and Canada – it's the nearest bridge to downtown Niagara Falls.
