To uninstall programs on your TI-85 (similar to TI-83/84), press [2nd] [MEM], select Memory Mgmt/Del, choose Prgm, use the arrow keys to highlight the program you want gone, press [DEL], then select Yes and [ENTER] to confirm, and finally press [2nd] [QUIT] to exit.
All RAM - Clears all variables and programs from RAM only. This will not delete items from Archive or Apps. Defaults - Does not clear any files from the calculator. Instead, this option resets the calculator settings to default, including the Mode, Graph Format, Table Setup, and other settings.

What does resetting a calculator do? A full reset of your calculator clears all previously stored variables, entries and calculations, and returns settings – such as whether you have the angle unit set to degrees or radians – to default.
Use an alcohol wipe or “prep pad” of 70% or greater isopropyl alcohol (available at any general merchandise “big box” store or drug store) to wipe down the graphing calculator's screen, keypad, or back. Do not attempt to clean the inside of any ports.
However, the following procedure allows the user to rename a program on the calculator: Press the [PRGM] key, press the right arrow twice to select NEW, and press [ENTER]. Type the new name. Press [ENTER].
