You cannot start a Hyundai vehicle using a USB port or a USB cable in a legitimate way. The USB ports in a Hyundai are exclusively for charging devices, playing media, or connecting to the infotainment system for features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Once you're inside, you can start your vehicle by placing your phone face-up on the wireless charging pad. Then, press the brake down and push the ignition button. You may remove your phone from the wireless charging pad once the engine is running.
All Bluelink-equipped Hyundai hybrid and electric vehicles (EVs) should have remote start capabilities, making it easy to start your car's engine before you get in. Popular Hyundai EVs with the remote start feature include the Hyundai N-Line electric, the Hyundai KONA EV, and the Hyundai IONIQ hybrid.
Hyundai Digital Key 1 is a smartphone app that allows you to unlock, lock, start, and drive your Hyundai without the need for a physical key. You can also share Digital Key access with up to three other people.
The individual will need to create a MyHyundai account and download the free Hyundai Digital Key app, and then you can send them an invite via the app to receive their Shared Key. (Hyundai owners can have up to three Shared Keys.)

The definition of free
In an unusual move, Hyundai makes its connected services via BlueLink free. So, roadside assistance, remote start, maintenance schedules, etc., that you would get through the app are free. This includes the Hyundai Digital Key.
In conventional vehicles, drivers can continue driving until they turn off the ignition system. Many push-button ignition systems have a button on the dashboard that lets you shut off the engine. But some models can't start or shut down automatically without a key fob.
Hyundai BlueLink Subscription Plans
If you own a 2023 IONIQ 6 or any 2024 or newer Hyundai, you get BlueLink+ at no cost, a value of $350 yearly. Older models (2023 and earlier) include a three-year free trial, then cost $99 yearly or $9.90 monthly.
