You can't gift old skins from your locker; you can only gift items currently in the Fortnite Item Shop to friends who have been on your list for at at least 2 days, after meeting requirements like enabling 2FA and reaching Account Level 2, by selecting the item in the shop and choosing "Gift to Friends". The process involves buying the item as a gift directly from the shop for a friend, not trading or transferring skins you already own.
You can only gift a skin that's in the current item shop . Ie you can't gift a skin you have yourself which you bought back in chapter 3 (unless its returned to the item shop at the time of gifting) .
After purchasing a cosmetic in-game with V-Bucks from the Fortnite Item Shop, there are two ways to return the item(s): Cancel Purchase or using a Return Ticket.

It is not possible to unlock outfit styles from previous seasons, just for the current one. We encourage players to complete the challenges related to the outfit before the season ends.
Gifting Limitations
While you can't gift skins you already own in Fortnite, there are other restrictions to keep in mind: You must have 2-factor authentication enabled. Your account must be at least 48 hours old. You can only gift 5 items within a 24-hour period.
To gift V-Bucks to another player, you must purchase a physical V-Bucks card from a participating retailer and give it to them to redeem on their Epic Games account. You cannot purchase giftable V-Bucks through the Epic Games online store.
Gift purchases are non-refundable. Purchases can be refunded via self-serve on the Transactions page under the Account portal. Purchases can be refunded via our Player Support.
