Solution 1: Clear App Cache to Free up Space on Android
In general, the lack of working space is probably the main cause of having insufficient storage available for Android users. Usually, any Android app uses three sets of storage for the app itself, the app's data files and the app's cache.
If you've deleted all the files you don't need and you're still receiving the “insufficient storage available” error message, you need to clear out Android's cache.
Why am I deleting photos but my storage is still full?
A common reason for this issue revolves around the Recently Deleted album in the Photos app. This album allows you to recover deleted photos and videos for up to 30 days after deleting them. Like the Recycle Bin on your computer, it acts as a temporary safety net in case you change your mind.

Windows suggests different types of files you can remove, including recycle bin files, Windows Update Cleanup files, upgrade log files, device driver packages, temporary internet files, and temporary files.
Open the Start menu and select Settings > System > Storage . Open Storage settings.
Select Configure Storage Sense or run it now, and under Temporary Files, select when you want each type of files deleted. Note: To delete unnecessary files manually instead, scroll down and under Free up space now, select Clean now.
You can delete app data for any Android app with the same steps. Clear the app cache files of any app you think is causing performance issues, or delete app data for any apps you want to open with a clean slate. You'll get some storage space back, but nothing you've downloaded will be deleted.
Important: If you back up photos and videos to Google Photos on a mobile device, when you delete them from the Google Photos app, they're also deleted from your device.
