Female nipples vary greatly in size and shape, with average diameters around 10-12 mm (0.4-0.5 inches) and heights of 9-10 mm, but normal can range much wider (6-34 mm base width), often becoming larger and longer during pregnancy and breastfeeding, with some even exceeding 100 mm in circumference, showing normal diversity in color, shape (cylindrical, conical, oval), and projection.
