They explain that Starburst are manufactured in Europe and imported to Australia, adding an additional shipping cost on that isn't present with some of their other candies — M&Ms, Skittles, Snickers, and more are produced locally in Australia, per The Guardian.
“Our Starburst® products are imported from Europe and like many businesses that are importing products from overseas, the brand has been exposed to supply chain difficulties and rising cost pressures over the last two years,” a spokesperson for the company said.

I love that there is an all-pink option to buy for starbursts. Pink is by far the best flavor so it's nice to have a full bag of them without having to dig through multiple colors to get to the best one - pink!
