Even as her marriage crumbles, Skyler permits Walt to take care of Holly and defends some of his actions to her lawyer, who advises that she leave Walt immediately. She later finds that Walt has signed off on their divorce and left the house for good.
Skyler And Marie Might Have Broken Bad Themselves
When her life fell apart and Walt disappeared, Skyler lost her assets and moved in with her kids in a small apartment with a job as a taxi dispatcher.
He was the former boss and brief affair partner of Skyler White. Ted gives Skyler her old job back as his accountant. Ted has always been attracted to Skyler but does not make any advances after she returns.
After learning of Hank's death however, Skyler finally betrays Walt and forces him out of their home.
Walt: He Forgave Her For Cheating
She had made vows to Walt hence her actions could not be excused. Her betrayal was a major one but Walt didn't cut her off for it. Instead, he tried even harder to keep the family together.
In Breaking Bad, does Hank feel respect/sympathy/forgiveness for Walter just before he dies? Yes. Forgiveness may be a stretch, but certainly some degree of understanding. It's my favorite scene in the series.
Skyler walks in on Walt, and, when Walt asks about the missing money, discloses that she gave the money to Ted to pay off the IRS. Walt screams in agony, before breaking down laughing as a frightened Skyler backs away.
Walter was unable to leave any of his drug money for them, so they were destitute as well as homeless. Skyler managed to pin everything on Walt, so she stayed out of jail, but finding work after having her name dragged through the mud was obviously not easy.

At dinner at the Whites, Hank goes to the bathroom and while there, pages through a copy of Leaves of Grass that Gale had given Walter. He recognizes the writing from Gale's notebook, and from Gale's dedication to Walt, is shocked to conclude that Walt is Heisenberg.
After being diagnosed with lung cancer, mild-mannered chemistry teacher Walter White kickstarted an illicit career as a meth cook with one of his former students and ended up becoming the drug lord of Albuquerque.
In the final scene, Hank figures out that Walt is Heisenberg while perusing Walt's copy of “Leaves of Grass” on the toilet. The book is inscribed: “To my other favorite W.W. It's an honor working with you.
It is revealed that Skyler is eventually forced to move into an apartment and takes a job as a taxi dispatcher, having all their assets seized. She still maintains custody of the children, however ("Granite State").
With the help of shady lawyer Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk), Skyler sent two bodyguards to force Ted into signing a check to the IRS. He then panicked and tried to escape before tripping on a rug, suffering a severe neck injury.
Gus is pleased with the quality of Walt's blue meth and offers him $3 million for three months of his time to cook more in a high-tech "superlab" hidden under an industrial laundry that Gus owns. Walt initially refuses, but Gus eventually convinces Walt that he should cook for his family's financial security.
His criminal activity has resulted in the death of a family member. With Hank's death the Heisenberg façade is shattered for good. Walt can't deny his culpability in Hank's death, not with any credibility. He doesn't have that resolve anymore.
Crime didn't pay and Walter lost just about everything, including his life. But it was also, by the show's bleak, almost Calvinist standards, a relatively happy ending. It wasn't, as he so often feared, all for nothing – he found a way to get his money to his children.
After season 2, Walt's cancer goes into remission for several months, but it returns approximately around the time of season 5's "Gliding Over All" and is confirmed to be back in "Blood Money" which takes place over a year after Walt first got diagnosed.
Gretchen was born into a wealthy family and at one point began working for Walter White as his lab assistant at his and his best friend Elliot Schwartz's company Gray Matter Technologies. She and Walt eventually sparked a romance, fell deeply in love and were at one point engaged.
Walt's world crumbles even more after finding out that Skyler is cheating on him. Jesse tries to set up a meeting with Gus to try and sell his own version of the blue meth.
Holly White is the infant daughter of Walter and Skyler White. Walter White Jr. is her older brother.
