Seasol is especially effective when used directly onto foliage as it's absorbed through the leaves. Seasol promotes healthy roots, encourages beneficial soil micro-organisms, stimulates flowering and fruiting and helps plants to cope with stresses like heat, drought, frost and pest and disease attack.
They work within the soil and lawn for up to 12 weeks. A liquid form is usually applied after the turf has been laid or the seed sown and are applied every week for the first six weeks. Seasol Lawn & Turf Starter is an excellent example of a lawn starter to get your lawn off to a great start.

Seasol and PowerFeed are liquids, they are readily absorbed into the soil and the plant foliage. Therefore you do not need to water them in.
You can't overdose on Seasol. It's not a Fertiliser. But it does have amazing healing qualities. One capful in a 10 litre watering can will treat around 4m2.
Seasol is a plant tonic that you mix with water. You can use it everyday when you water your plants without any damage. It encourages sick plants to grow new roots. These roots can then take up the water and your plants will recover.
Do not apply when rain is expected as it will just get washed away. Spray should not come into contact with foliage/roots of plants that you do not want to kill. Seasol Another brilliant product!
For optimum results it should be applied to the garden every 2 weeks, more frequently (every week) if plants are under stress. Unlike fertilizers, Seasol can be applied all year round, even in winter and at the height of summer.

Powerfeed is a fertiliser
These are commonly recognised as the essential components of general-purpose fertiliser. Seasol, on the other hand, only includes small amounts of nitrogen and phosphorus.
One of the best and most popular is Seasol which needs to be diluted with water (1 teaspoon to 1 litre of water) and poured over your plants on watering day about once a month in the warmer months.

It's best to stick to the above guidelines for application frequency, but keep in mind that Seasol is not a fertiliser so it won't burn your plants, even applied regularly.
Seasol has almost no NPK
The role a fertilizer truly plays is to supplement the plant with the nutrients – mainly NPK – that it is not getting from the soil. Seasol has only tiny, almost unnoticeable amounts of the most important nutrients your lawns and plants need to thrive.
While Seasol contains a mixture of brown kelps such as King Island Bull Kelp (Durvillaea potatorum), Chile Bull Kelp (Durvilleae Antarctica), and Knotted Kelp (Ascophyllum nodosum), Eco Seaweed only contains 100% Knotted Kelp. This is harvested from the North Atlantic Ocean.
If your plants are strong and healthy, they may be able to handle and reduce the stress of pests and diseases. Applying Seasol regularly every two weeks during the year can help them to cope with environmental stress.
