Yet an official Demon Slayer "fanbook," written by the manga's creator, Koyoharu Gotouge, revealed Muzan doesn't really like Upper Rank Two demon, Doma. As Lower Ranks Six, Four, Three and Two can attest, Muzan is not averse to eliminating demons he doesn't care for, even if they're Kizuki.
The only reason why Muzan hates Doma is because of his insincerity and lack of emotions. This might sound odd, expecting emotions from a demon, but even a demon has to retain such tendencies to keep things in order.
Doma met Muzan and became a demon at the age of twenty. He steadily developed his powers over centuries and eventually became Muzan's second most powerful subordinate and held the position of Upper Two of the Twelve Kizuki. Doma seemingly adored Muzan and would continually talk to him as if Muzan were his friend.

If any of other lower demon moons had died I don't think Muzan would have cared as much.
It is revealed that Muzan's true fear of dying and immense desire to live and survive was due to him being born "dead," where his heart would constantly stop in his mother's womb and was assumed stillborn until he fought to breathe before his cremation.
Tsukito, Yorogi, Kuraku, and Isatsu all agree that they are loyal to Muzan.
Unable to fight back, Doma realized he was tricked but it was too late. He was soon decapitated by the combined force of Kanao and Inosuke, avenging Shinobu and her family.
Tanjiro Kamado
Tanjiro is considered to be Muzan's main nemesis throughout the series.
Over a century ago, Doma held the position of Upper Rank Six ( 上 じょう 弦 げん の 陸 ろく , Jōgen no Roku?), and during that tenure, he turned Gyutaro and Daki into demons and introduced them into the Twelve Kizuki.

As we witnessed the exchange between Doma and Akaza, it became clear that there was a deep-seated animosity between the two demons. While it was easy to assume that all Demons hated humans, it was a surprise to see that they also harbored grudges against each other.
Trivia. Anne was originally planned to be Muzan`s older sister, who died by the hand of a Demon Slayer but that idea was scrapped, as the author knew practically nothing about Muzan`s early life. Instead, Anne became his wife, by which he had two children.
In fact, Akaza has more skills and potential than Doma, but since he doesn't harm women and children, he doesn't have that many resources to gain more strength. This is why, despite joining the Twelve Kizuki before Doma, Akaza is never able to surpass him.
Akaza's only loyalty to the demons is only seen with Muzan and he does not get along with his fellow Upper Rank Demons. Although he is only dismissive of Gyokko, Hantengu and Nakime, he harbours an envy and hatred with his two superiors, Kokushibo and Doma.
Despite being a blood-thristy demon who has murdered several people, he has a set of principles he adheres to. One thing that Demon Slayer fans have noticed is that Akaza refuses to eat or kill women. Additionally, the Demon King, Muzan, gave Akaza special permission to do so.
Since Muzan favored Gyutaro so much, he chose to incorporate the latter's sister Daki as well. The demon king believed that she was the only tool that could be used to control Gyutaro.

2 His Body Is Weak To Certain Poisons
Poisons that did not exist before, like Tamayo's concoction of turning demons into humans, are the kind of poisons that Muzan's body isn't prepared for, as he's never been exposed to them before, and thus, his body has no idea as to how it should fight those poisons.
Doma is always smiling and acts very friendly, but this cheerful, caring nature is simply a facade. He states that he cares for his fellow Upper Moons and even cries when he learns that Akaza died, though, in fact, he doesn't feel anything for them.
He considered these stories extremely boring and was confused why they came to a child for help. These people asked him to lead them to paradise, causing Doma to cry, since he never believed paradise, the gods and Buddha were real.
Douma said that he had never felt emotions before, but his heart felt like it was beating now. He started doubting his belief that heaven and hell didn't exist and started blushing at Shinobu, quickly developing a crush on her.
1 Muzan Regretted Killing His Doctor
He shows his most human side to fans, wherein he admits to regretting murdering his doctor. He comments that had he been patient, the doctor would have cured him, and he would never have turned into a demon.
Muzan himself never thought highly of Daki and didn't reciprocate her devotion whatsoever, only ever talking to her to sweetly manipulate her into defeating Demon Slayers on his behalf.

It was only later he realized they did love him, and that he was the one who was never able to recognize their love. However, Muzan showed up at that very moment and brainwashed young Rui.
