High-quality studies and systematic reviews generally conclude that male circumcision has no or minimal adverse effect on sexual function, sensation, or pleasure. The vast majority of the highest-quality evidence does not support the idea that you feel less if circumcised.
Some critics argue that circumcision reduces sensitivity by removing nerve endings in the foreskin. While it's true that the foreskin contains sensory receptors, current evidence shows that the most sensitive parts of the penis, like the glans and frenulum, are unaffected or minimally affected by circumcision.

Circumcised men & Sensitivity
The foreskin protects the glans (head of the penis) from unwanted friction against undergarments and fabrics. Circumcision cuts the foreskin and without it, the glans can receive excessive rubbing causing discomfort or pain.

Risks of circumcision

The "21-second pee rule" comes from a scientific discovery that most mammals over about 3 kg (like dogs, cows, elephants) empty their bladders in roughly 21 seconds, regardless of their size, due to physics involving urethra length and gravity. For humans, this serves as a loose benchmark: urinating significantly faster (e.g., under 10 seconds) or slower (over 30 seconds) might signal holding it too long or an overactive bladder, though it's not an exact diagnosis.
This is a result of urine temporarily trapped between the glans and the foreskin because the urine flows out too slowly. But this is no reason to worry. Phimosis sometimes continues into the child's teenage years or adulthood, or it may first start then as well.
Also, boys may have trouble urinating after surgery or may regress and start wetting their pants or the bed even if they have already been toilet trained. The foreskin should be left alone until itcan be pulled back easily. In fact, the head of the penis does not need to be cleaned until a child reaches puberty.

Eventually, the foreskin should be retracted far enough during urination to see the meatus (the hole where the urine comes from).
