Clean dentures daily: Brush your dentures each day the same way that you would brush your teeth, with one key difference: Skip the toothpaste. Many commercial types of toothpaste can damage dentures.
Since dentures are delicate and can be easily damaged, it is recommended that you use a regular soft-bristled toothbrush to clean them, as these are considerably more gentle than electric toothbrushes.
Toothpaste is not intended to be used for denture cleaning and as a result can actually be harmful to your dentures. Opt for a denture cleanser and brush instead.

Rinse and brush your dentures every day
Gently brush your dentures to clean them. Do not use toothpaste as it can be abrasive and scratch your dentures. However, brushing your dentures every day is essential for their maintenance. Having said that, avoid brushing them too hard.

Soak and brush them with a soft-bristled brush and nonabrasive denture cleanser to remove food, plaque and other deposits. If you use denture adhesive, clean the grooves that fit against your gums to remove any remaining adhesive. Don't use denture cleansers inside your mouth.
Denture wearers should pay attention to their mouths, even if they have no or few teeth remaining. Mouths should be brushed with a soft-bristled toothbrush and a (fluoride toothpaste if teeth are present) twice a day. Pay special attention to cleaning teeth that fit under the denture's metal clasps.
Any time dentures are going to be out of your mouth for an extended period of time, they should be kept in water or a denture solution. If they are allowed to dry out, they may become brittle and warped. Ideally, dentures should only be soaked overnight and put back in your mouth the following morning.
Instructions for cleaning dentures/partials:
Use an antibacterial dish soap (Dawn is recommended) and a denture brush or a soft toothbrush to clean the appliance. Be sure to clean your appliance after each meal as well as brush and rinse your mouth.

DO choose a low-abrasive, tartar-control toothpaste. Using a normal OTC toothpaste containing fluoride is OK. There is no need to choose a special type of toothpaste, but look for the ADA Seal of Approval to find the ideal options. DO use a Waterpik flosser.
Generally you should wear your dentures for at least 8 hours a day. This will give your gums and jawbone time to get used to the dentures and prevent sore spots from developing. It is best to take them out at night so that your gums can rest. You should also remove them for eating, drinking, brushing and flossing.
Tip #2: Soak In A Salt-water Solution
In a glass large enough to hold your dentures, combine water with a tablespoon of regular table salt and stir the solution well. Gently place your dentures in the glass, making sure the solution covers them fully. Leave them in overnight.

Regardless of the type of dentures you're using, wearing them in your sleep is a bad idea, and will cause you a number of health issues down the line. To keep your mouth bacteria-free, your gums healthy, and your bones unaltered and strong, make sure to remove your dentures every night before going to sleep.
Fill a container or glass with enough very warm, not hot, water to cover the denture. Drop one tablet into the water. You should see the tablet fizzing, place the denture in the glass, make sure it's fully covered by the soaking solution. Soak for the time specified in the instructions on the pack.
Peroxide based liquid
Using a denture cleaner with peroxide will be the most effective way to clean your dentures and prevent future dental issues from forming. Peroxide-based denture cleaners can be bought at most stores or online and are simple to use.
Store dentures in a cup of water overnight
We recommend storing dentures in a cup of plain tap water overnight. You might clean the dentures with nonabrasive brush and denture cleanser before soaking them in water. Fill your cup with water, and leave your dentures in overnight.
Storing dentures in water when you are not using them helps to keep your dentures free of bacteria as well as making sure they keep their shape. When dentures are not stored in water, they can become dry and brittle. This can cause them to crack or break.
It is safe to soak metal-based dentures in effervescent cleansers such as Steradent or Boots Effervescent/Double Action for fifteen minutes. Alternately soak in Dentural or Milton for ten minutes each evening. Soak in water overnight.
You should never wear your dentures 24 hours a day without preforming proper oral hygiene. Dentures should be cleaned at night and stored in water during the night.
