Bald white men were rated as being less attractive than their counterparts with hair while also scoring lower on other measures of desirability in a psychological study. Intriguingly, the same study also found that bald Black men were deemed to be no less attractive than those with hair.
However, 71% of men said they felt less attractive when going through hair loss, which then had an impact on their relationships. It seems as though these surveys conclude that many women value good hair when it comes to sex appeal and many men see themselves as less attractive when balding.
Most women find bald men attractive and sexy and recommended men to be proud of being bald. They also accompany the bald look with a nice beard and a fit body. Women find this to be a great way to emphasize the masculine and tough side of a bald guy and create an extremely attractive and charming look.
Only 84 percent said they were willing to date someone with minor hair loss and nearly half that (48 percent) said they would date someone with severe hair loss. Men happen to be far more likely than women to experience hair loss, but they were much less likely to find it attractive.

A 2019 study in the International Journal of Trichology found that androgenic alopecia lowered the quality of life for many men, with particular effects in the areas of self-perception and interpersonal relations.
So, for the questions “Do women like bald men?” the overwhelming majority of women gave positive answers. 87.5% of women of different ages and nationalities surveyed find bald men attractive compared to only 12.5% of women, who gave negative answer.
The research, involving three separate studies related to balding, found evidence suggesting men with shaved heads are sexier.
According to the study, “The IQ test found that men with a full head of hair scored the lowest in IQ and problem- solving ability, with a quarter (26%) scoring below the average IQ of 98*. Bald or balding men had the highest IQ on average with almost half (58%) scoring an IQ of 112 or above.”
The study found not only an increased risk of heart disease in older men, but also in men younger than 60. Among those men, baldness raised the risk of heart attack by a full 44 percent.
