Hermione Granger had shown signs of magic from a young age. For example she would make things levitate, move things without touching them, make things disappear, and so on. And she found out that she was a witch when her Hogwarts letter came.
Mr and Mrs Granger – we're never told their first names – were introduced to the wizarding world in much the same way that most Muggles are: they received a letter from Hogwarts, which revealed their daughter to be a Muggle-born witch. According to Hermione, the news came as a surprise, but her parents were supportive.

When Hermione is scared she is often described as turning white and she is also described as visibly blushing, a rarity for those of us blessed with lots of melanin. Arguably, Hermione could still be light-skinned or mixed race, but that's besides the point.
Thanks to the steps she took, Voldemort's Death Eaters were unable to track down Hermione's parents and torture them for information concerning their daughter or her friends. J.K. Rowling confirmed that immediately after the Second Wizarding War ended, Hermione went to Australia and restored her parents' memories.
Harry James Potter holds half-blood status in Rowling's imagined wizarding world because his mother is Muggle-born and his father is pure-blood. There are three main blood statuses; pure-blood, half-blood, and Muggle-born, which are all methods of determining a witch or wizard's magical lineage.

Ginny is a pureblood witch born 11 August 1981, the seventh child and only daughter of Arthur and Molly Weasley. She attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and is sorted into Gryffindor house, along with the rest of her family. J. K.

Slytherins are a cunning lot, and there are all kinds of examples of Albus Potter using his wiles to come up with schemes and plans worthy of any member of Salazar's house throughout Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
