Yes, Daemon Targaryen seemed to genuinely love a few people, primarily his niece Rhaenyra Targaryen, whom he was devoted to and married, seeing them as kindred spirits; he also shared a deep, complex bond with his brother, King Viserys I, and showed affection and care for his second wife, Laena Velaryon, though his passion was always with Rhaenyra, as highlighted in House of the Dragon.
He's 100% in love with Rhaenyra. It's all over his dialogue, body language and the way he looks at her. He is tender with nobody else like he is with her. Even Matt Smith himself said the only 2 people Daemon loves are Viserys and Rhaenyra.
Daeron son of Aegon V and Betha Blackwood, he broke his betrothal to Olenna Redwyne after his elder brothers broke theirs, most likely because he was gay and had a lover, Jeremy Norridge. He died fighting against the rebellion of the Rat, Hawk and Pig.
In the books. In The World of Ice & Fire and Fire & Blood, Mysaria is a dancer from Lys. Daemon met her in a brothel at King's Landing, and soon she became his lover and collaborator. She was lithe and lissome in her youth, but age thickened her body.
But, whatever happens after this point, Daemon most assuredly loved Rhaenyra, and she loved him back. He loved her more than he loved Laena. He loved her, sometimes enough to make him lose his focus on the Iron Throne. She loved him more than she loved Ser Criston Cole or Ser Harwyn Strong.
Rhaenyra's love for Harwin and the loss she experiences due to their separation and his death contribute to her growing resentment and determination to fight for her rights and protect her children in the upcoming civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons.
In the book, Mushroom suggests that Rhaenyra was seduced by Daemon and that he took her virginity while Mushroom suggests that Daemon knew that Rhaenyra desired Ser Criston Cole of the Kingsguard so he started to offer her tips and training on how to best seduce him (including teaching her to kiss).
During the wedding, exiled knight Ser Jorah Mormont pledges his loyalty to Daenerys while her benefactor Illyrio Mopatis gifts her three petrified dragon eggs. Daenerys is afraid of her new husband initially, but after learning the Dothraki language, she begins to bond with Drogo and genuinely falls in love with him.
Daemon Targaryen died on the 22nd of the fifth month and Rhaenyra Targaryen died the same day, 5 months later. #HouseOfTheDragon #Rhaenyra #Daemon. The fact that there are fans who think Daemon survived a fall from *probably* 1,000 feet into water is wild.
So we all know that obviously Aegon married Rhaenys for love and Visenya for duty - Rhaenys was the favourite wife and Visenya was more of a backup in a way.
Ser Jorah Mormont loved Daenerys Targaryen with all his heart, though she never returned his love. 🌹 He stood by her side through betrayal, exile, and war, proving his loyalty again and again. ⚔️ In the Battle of Winterfell, he gave his life protecting his queen, dying in her arms.
Daemon fell in love with Laena (some people believe he saw Laena as a means to further his ambition), and asked Corlys for her hand in marriage.
Although Ygritte is long dead, Jon still loves her and cannot bring himself to sleep with another woman.
I think she was yearning for someone to see beyond her title and her womb. And here enters Daemon who is a rebel, a warrior, and someone who knows her and knows what she desires. It is sudden but she's a grown woman now and she wants to experience the freedoms a man in her place would be even expected to take part in.
In 122 AC, at the age of thirteen, Helaena was married to her older brother Prince Aegon, following the ancient tradition of House Targaryen. Barely a year after her wedding, Helaena gave birth to twins: Jaehaerys and Jaehaera.
They were definitely in love and obviously, Jon took no pleasure in assassinating his aunt and lover. I think Daenerys, in her last moment alive, no longer saw him as a threat to her power, judging by the way she smiled at him when he said she would always be his queen.
(Spoiler)After Rhaenyra's death, Aegon-II was crowned again(it lasts for six months), during that period he says the title "queen" must belong to his mother, Rhaenyra should only be mentioned as a princess.
After Daenerys' death in the Game of Thrones series finale, her dragon Drogon became a mystery, flying off with her lifeless body and never being seen again.
For their betrayal, Hugh Hammer and Ulf White infamously became known as the Two Betrayers. It was believed that the treachery of the two dragonseeds was out of avarice, as they both resent the lands that Rhaenyra gave them and that Hugh and Ulf, who have a lust for power and wealth, desired to become lords.
Game of Thrones: Season 1
Daenerys's handmaiden Irri realizes that Daenerys is pregnant with Drogo's child. They throw a small feast to celebrate. Jorah Mormont is troubled by the news and sends word of it to his paymaster, Varys, in King's Landing. Daenerys tells Drogo she is certain the child will be a boy.
The two surviving Targaryens, Viserys and Daenerys, fled into exile to the Free Cities of Essos across the Narrow Sea. House Lannister replaced House Baratheon as the royal house in the aftermath of the War of the Five Kings, but they were defeated in the Last War.
Daenerys' attack on King's Landing saw her transformation into the Mad Queen. She lost key allies and felt betrayed, leading to her destructive decision. Despite controversy, her descent into madness was hinted at throughout the series.
So theologians had to explain how Mary could have been ever-virgin––by the standard of having an intact hymen––and given birth (recall that quote from the Lateran Council: Mary “gave birth to Him without injury, her virginity remaining equally inviolate after the birth”).
As of Season 2 Episode 7, Rhaenyra's army has at least seven flying dragons, overwhelmingly outnumbering the Greens, who have only three (with Sunfyre being too wounded to fly anytime soon).
Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen is the FIRST woman in Westeros who sat upon the Iron Throne as a crowned ruler; Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen the First of Her Name is the daughter of King Varys I Targaryen and mother of King Varys II and Aegon III. She is also a great ancestor of Daenerys Targaryen.
