Many years later he left it in the care of his trusted Death Eater, Bellatrix Lestrange. Although she did not know that the cup was a Horcrux, Lestrange treated the object with extreme priority, storing it in her family vault at Gringotts Wizarding Bank, considered to be impossible to plunder.
Harry knows from his conversations with Dumbledore that if a Horcrux is in the vault, it must either be the Hufflepuff cup or else an unknown object, so they have no choice but to look for the cup.
In this book, Rowling reveals that Bellatrix is the guardian of Helga Hufflepuff's cup (though she is unaware that it is a Horcrux), which Voldemort has entrusted the Lestranges to keep in their Gringotts vault.
At some point in time, Lord Voldemort gave Bellatrix Lestrange Hufflepuff's Cup, one of his Horcruxes, to keep safe in her vault, though he didn't tell her its true nature.
The cup, which was made a Horcrux with Hepzibah's death, was left with Bellatrix Lestrange who kept it at Gringotts. Griphook and an Imperiused Bogrod helped Harry, Ron and Hermione break into Bellatrix's vault and recover the Horcrux. The cup was destroyed by Hermione Granger, using a fang from the Basilisk's corpse.
Inside the Lestrange's Vault
When Harry, Ron and Hermione venture inside Bellatrix Lestrange's vault in search of a Horcrux, they receive an unpleasant surprise: The contents of the vault are under the Geminio curse, so everything they touch multiplies exponentially.
It obviously wasn't of any use to him as Dumbledore's agent to give Bellatrix any sword (fake or not); so he must have done it as part of his Death Eater disguise. At that time, the Death Eaters didn't know that the sword was instrumental to destroying Horcruxes (or that anyone was after them at all).
His reaction to Bella's death was akin to his reaction at the loss of the Cup, which was when he realised that his own immortality was jeopardised amidst war and his own death could have been near.
He did not love anyone, and did not care to be loved. He felt nothing for his family, and only wanted his friends in school to rally around him because he wanted to hold power over them. Bellatrix Lestrange was obviously in love with him and worshiped him, but he only cared for her servitude, not her.
Cruciatus Curse ('Crucio')
Harry tried to use this spell himself. The first time was against Bellatrix after she had killed Sirius. His attempt was unsuccessful because, as Bellatrix mockingly explained: 'You need to really want to cause pain – to enjoy it – righteous anger won't hurt me for long…'
No, we don't know what spell did Molly use to take down Bellatrix, but it certainly wasn't Avada Kedavra. Whatever spell she used, it didn't disintegrate Bellatrix either.
Draco's refusal to reveal Harry's identity to Bellatrix was not because he liked him. It was because he believed that Harry was the only chance they had at defeating Voldemort. At first, Draco admired and revered Voldemort until he threatened his family's safety.
When Bellatrix died, Voldemort seemed genuinely upset: Bellatrix's gloating smile froze, her eyes seemed to bulge: for the tiniest space of time she knew what had happened, and then she toppled, and the watching crowd roared, and Voldemort screamed.

Voldemort, weakened by his long stint as "less than the meanest ghost' 69 insists on making one more Horcrux. And unlike with Harry, Voldemort did say the spell when he killed Bertha Jorkins to make Nagini a Horcrux.
So when Ron said three, it wasn't a mistake. He meant there were three more horcruxes to destroy before being able to destroy the fourth and final piece which was in fact Voldemort himself.
Bellatrix Lestrange Killed her own cousin, Sirius Black: She killed Sirius (who was her cousin) during the battle at the Department of Mysteries. She was remorseless and was cackling in glee after she had murdered Sirius.
Bellatrix's greatest fear was : abandonment by her Lord Voldemort. Bellatrix is a blind and die-hard servant of her master Lord Voldemort.
By the time he was Lord Voldemort (despite what I said earlier about the graveyard scene), Tom Riddle had become fully and completely asexual. The Death Eaters are characters featured in the Harry Potter series of novels and films. such as Severus Snape, Lucius Malfoy, and Peter Pettigrew had appeared in.

Voldemort intentionally made six Horcruxes, but when he used Avada Kedavra on Harry, he unintentionally created a seventh Horcrux. Instead of dying, Lily's love for Harry created a counter 'curse' known as Sacrificial Protection and saved Harry.
Compatibility with Bellatrix's death: Bellatrix's sudden death aligns with the effects of the Avada Kedavra curse. Arguments for and against its use by Molly: Although Avada Kedavra is a possibility, Molly's character and values may make it less likely that she would resort to using an Unforgivable Curse.
Question number one: Why didn't Dumbledore just give the sword of Gryffindor to Harry instead of leaving it to him in his will? He knew even before his death that Harry would need the sword to destroy Horcruxes, and he must have known that the Ministry would not let Harry get the sword.
The sword was supposed to be in her vault in Gringotts. Voldemort assigned that job to her; to keep this sword, and a few other valuable items (e.g. unknown to her, another Horcrux). So when she saw the sword in Hermione's hand, she got really scared and feared the worst. She thought her vault has been breached.
Why was Godric Gryffindor's sword not a horcrux? Because Voldemort never got his hands on the sword to be able to turn it into a Horcrux.
