It's a hotly debated topic, but most agree Hela would likely defeat Thanos without Infinity Stones, thanks to her raw power, speed, and connection to Asgard, which amplifies her abilities; however, Thanos with the Power Stone, or multiple stones, could overwhelm her, especially if he could land powerful, direct hits or utilize strategic advantages on neutral ground, making it a close call depending heavily on the battlefield and stones involved.
The Marvel hero who could have defeated Thanos, but never got the chance. Thanos was one of the most formidable villains in the MCU, but according to a theory gaining traction, there was one character who could have easily defeated him, if only he had survived long enough. That character? Odin, the All-Father.
Odin is the only one known to have defeated Hela in battle, having cast her out of Asgard and imprisoned her in Hel.
Unable to kill his own daughter, Odin defeated Hela and imprisoned her using his own power to keep her at bay in another realm for eons.
If Thor is able to land a clean, critical hit, he could potentially kill her. He could also attempt to destroy Asgard again, as the destruction of the realm would weaken Hela significantly. However, this would require Thor sacrificing his home once more.
Mjonir is still incredibly powerful… but it's no longer an invincible weapon. Thor doesn't even have time to dwell on the impacts of his father's death before Hela shows up, destroys his beloved hammer, and bifrosts boots him to a junkyard planet. Hela easily grabbed the weapon and crushed it.
And much like the grim reaper, Mistress Death's true form is a skeleton but she can changed into a woman (if so desires) and if anything happens to her (like being captured) then death itself would stop. Thus, in the comics Thanos actually falls in love with her and wants to prove his love to her.
With the Infinity Gauntlet Thanos has infinite versatility in how he can attack someone. Basically he has infinite power and Dormammu doesn't isn't even close to that level. Thanos wins without that much trouble. If Thanos has no Gauntlet with him, them its Dormammu.
She didn't say it was “weak”… she said it was “fake”. And the reason she said that was because of a plot hole in Thor (2011).
Superman, Martian Manhunter, Darkseid, Icon, Spectre, Batmite and Myxzptlk, Highfather, Orion and all of the other New Gods etc. Superman, Fate, Lantern even batman can defeat thanos. Remember infinity stone is not thanos's power.
The theory that Thanos was waiting for Odin to die is incorrect. Thanos was waiting till he knew where all of the stones were. Once he captured Nebula and found out that Gamora knew the location of the Soul Stone, he went on his offensive against the Universe.
The One-Above-All
With the power to make or unmake anything, reverse, speed up, stop time, and reshape reality instantaneously, it's impossible to comprehend what or who The One-Above-All is. The One-Above-All is the most powerful character in the Marvel Universe.
+1 In a theoretical fight between the MCU's Scarlet Witch (Wanda Maximoff) and Hela, the powerful chaos magic user Wanda would likely prevail due to her ability to reshape reality and manipulate energy, matter, and space.
Thanos knew Tony with his brilliant intellect is the only one who can stop him. Even The directors have stated that Thanos most feared Stark. Not due to his physical power, but his intelligence and shared "curse of knowledge".
She also releases her spirit as an astral projection, which retains much of her powers. Hela is weakened without her cloak—so much so she cannot keep herself standing or cast magical power. It's theorized that without her cloak, she cannot leave her two realms.
However, Red Skull saw his true intentions, informing Gamora that Thanos was, in fact, weeping for Gamora, as he truly loved her as a daughter, and was heartbroken that he had to sacrifice her to get the Soul Stone. Disbelieving, Gamora could not comprehend that Thanos ever showed genuine love for her.

The greatest mystical threat in the Marvel Universe, he often comes to blows with Doctor Strange – although his reign outside of time is eternal. “I am rightful lord of the Dark Dimension, Strange.
Inside the Dark Dimension though, Arishem is instantly defeated. Not even Celestials defeat Dormammu in the Dark Dimension. Rounds 2 and 3: Dormammu just destroys Arishem easily. In the MCU Dormammu is the most powerful thing we've seen so far, even with Infinity Ultron, Thanos, the Watcher, the TVA, and Kang.
He desires the powers and moral rightitude of the gods. For Thanos, being godly means being all-powerful and morally incontrovertible. But these are also Loki's final words, and are meant to cap of Loki's character arc to this point as well.

The enchantment, however, held that if Mjolnir left Thor's grasp or was removed from his person for more than 60 seconds, both would revert back to their mortal states until they were reunited.
Valkyrie is an Asgardian. She was part of a legendary force of women warriors that seemingly all perished. When Odin ordered the Valkyrie to drive his daughter Hela, the Goddess of Death, into a prison of Odin's making, she alone survived the assault thanks to another's sacrifice that saved her.
