Thor is great at close-range combat, too, which is one of Wanda's weak points. Captain Marvel and Captain Carter were able to get in a few blows before succumbing to the Scarlet Witch, and that is because they got close enough to her to do it.

Using the universe's Darkest Magic, Scarlet Witch is capable of flight, manipulation, telekinesis, telepathy, transmutation, life creation, and the ability to travel the multiverse. If anybody from the MCU could defeat Superman, it's Scarlet Witch.
When Wanda was first introduced in the MCU, Hawkeye was the first to form a real connection with her, trusting her to fight by his side in Avengers: Age of Ultron and in Captain America: Civil War. This gives him an advantage, and with long-range attacks, he would be able to catch her by surprise if need be.
