Let's get the bad news out of the way: You may never know exactly who's viewed your Instagram Story. Why? There are several methods viewers can use to watch a Story anonymously. If your Instagram is public, you can see who viewed your Story, so long as no one viewed it in an incognito way.
If the account is set to private, you will be unable to find and watch the Stories, especially by using third-party tools or downloading them.
Simply put, if you can see someones that someone has viewed your Instagram story, then they can that you have viewed theirs. And yes, this is even the case if you are not following each other. If, however, your account is on private, only the people that follow you can see your story.
