Piccolo's Chōkyoshinjutsu (超巨身術, "Super Large Body Technique", or "Super Giantification Spell" in Viz's manga) allows him to become gigantic to the point where he is capable of reaching mountain-like heights.
The giant form made him slow and was quite useless. All it could do was scare the enemy, but only someone weaker than Piccolo.
King Piccolo is unusually tall for a Namekian, suggesting that he spends most of his time in the Great Namekian state, and he can further increase his size, as displayed when becoming enraged after Goku kneed him in the face with a boost from his Power Pole.
Orange Piccolo is an evolved form of Piccolo's Potential Unleashed state and is currently his strongest transformation.

The title "Great Demon King" got translated as "Satan" and this became his name instead of Piccolo. In the infamous English dub based on this French version, Piccolo was renamed to "Big Green", probably because the name Satan was unsuitable for a children's show and Little Heart sounded too silly.
According to Krillin, Piccolo's power after fusing with Kami rivaled that of a Super Saiyan, and while Goku and Vegeta have long since surpassed this point, it still means that a Namekian was capable of surpassing a Saiyan, showing the species' potential power.
In Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku II, after fusing with Kami, Piccolo becomes a Super Namek, so he can unlock his enhanced form. He can get Super Namek's statistics when he transforms into this form. Super Namekian form is simply Piccolo without his weighted clothing.

Like all Namekians, Monaito has a lifespan that extends beyond 500 years, requires only water for sustenance, and has the ability to heal wounds.
In Dragon Ball Heroes, after using the God Class-up, the Namekian avatars take on this form, putting their power on a level similar to the likes of Super Saiyan God avatars. Using the Super God Class-up allows them to further access an unnamed blue-eyed Namekian form.

As we're sure you all know, this is perhaps Piccolo's most iconic special move, the "Makankosappo: Special Beam Cannon". He places two fingers on his forehead and focuses his Ki into a single point there before releasing it as a piercing, laser-like beam.

Later on, when Imperfect Cell blasts a hole through Piccolo and throws him in the ocean, he can still recover thanks to his regeneration ability. Later still, in the Majin Buu Saga, Piccolo demonstrates that he can regenerate from any wound so long as his head is intact.

Piccolo's incredible hearing ability does come with an obvious weakness: while he is able to listen in on distant conversations, it turns out that whistling can cause great pain to the Namekian, to the point that it paralyzes him.
Piccolo has been seen eating on a couple of occasions and actually stated that he got sick of eating fish in the Saiyan saga. The reason for Piccolo eating is usually stated to be for pleasure,which, combined with the fact that he grew to dislike fish, means that he can taste and thus has tastebuds.
