If you're using an iPhone 11, we recommend upgrading to an iPhone 14 (or even an iPhone 13). In the last three or so years, Apple has made enough changes to features including battery life, performance, screen quality, cameras and durability to merit buying a new iPhone.

All the iPhone models being discontinued
With the iPhone 14 on its way, Apple has taken these iPhone models off of its website masthead: iPhone 11, released in 2019. iPhone 12 mini, released in 2020. iPhone 13 Pro, released in 2021.
Design and performance-wise, the iPhone 11 is still strong, but in the camera department, it falls back compared to more recent models, like the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14. The iPhone 11 is compatible with the latest iOS version, making it a hit at this price point.
The iPhone 14 is a very good phone for the money, offering improved cameras, a faster A15 Bionic chip and fun Action mode for video capture. But at this price, we'd like to see a telephoto zoom and 120Hz display.
Due to production issues at Apple supplier factories in China, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are backordered and basically out of stock at every store.
The iPhone 13 comes equipped with an A15 bionic chip. That alone is much better than the iPhone 11. But the RAM is actually the same at 4GB. The A15 chip is much faster and more efficient than the A13 in the iPhone 11.
Overall, the iPhone 11 is a decent value buy in 2023, but if you can afford it, we recommend spending a bit more on an iPhone 12 or perhaps even an iPhone 13.
While both models have the same 12MP camera, iPhone 13 delivers crisper photos at 1170 x 2532 px resolution compared to 828 x 1792 px on the iPhone 11. There are also upgraded sensors on the iPhone 13 that tends to give you brighter, more vibrant and improved low-light performance overall.
