No, not every Pokémon can be an Alpha; the main exceptions are Legendary and Mythical Pokémon, but nearly all others, including starters, fossils, and gift Pokémon (once unlocked), have a chance to spawn as Alphas in games like Pokémon Legends: Arceus and Legends: Z-A, especially after completing area objectives. Once you've caught every Pokémon in a specific Wild Zone (achieving 100% completion and getting a crown icon), any of those Pokémon in that zone can potentially spawn as an Alpha, even rare ones like fossils.
Every non lengendary/mythical pokemon can be randomly found as an alpha. I would recommend waiting for the late game though when they spawn more frequently. Since the starters are found in zone 20, that should be a pretty simple task. Yes, I found an alpha totodile.
Legendaries and Mythicals are the only Pokemon that can NOT have Alphas.
Any Pokémon except the Legendaries ! The fixed spawn Alphas will always be there before and after defeating the areas Lord and non fixed alphas will only have a chance to spawn once the Lord of the area has been quelled and yes they can also be shiny.
But the War didn't end with those bases being destroyed. Lugia was created by Arceus to control the birds, and Ho-oh was created as an attacker to the Johto region.
Gimmighoul, the 999th mon in the Pokedex.
The game takes place 5 Years after the events of X & Y , Focusing entirely in the Kalos region's Lumiose City. Pokémon Legends: Z-A was announced in February 2024 as an exclusive to the original Switch console, before it was later announced that it would also receive an enhanced port for the Switch 2.
Sacred Gold/Storm Silver was my reintroduction to Nuzlockes after getting back into it as an adult. I got absolutely wiped on my first attempt because I played it blind. On my second attempt I used the docs and planned for the big fights, and beat the Johto stretch with maybe 5ish deaths.
Classified as an Electric-type Pokemon, Voltorb is a spherical species that resembles an item in the game's universe, a Poké Ball. Often confused for them, they will emit electricity or explode when jolted.
A 0% has a 1/4096 chance. A shiny at the worst is 1/450 and a 100% at it's best can be 1/216 or even higher with a lucky trade.
We know Red completes the Pokédex thanks to dialogue from Professor oak in G/S/C (when you register 152 Pokemon, he says that this project is going better than the last, which means 151 Pokemon had to be originally registered).
Gholdengo, the Pokémon that falls at #1,000 in the National Pokédex, evolves from Gimmighoul. Gholdengo functions by controlling the coins that comprise its body, and it even uses them as weapons in battle.
The first Pokémon, Bulbasaur, is number 0001 and the last, Mew, is number 0151. Alternate forms that result in type changes are included for convenience.
So Cubone's story is that Cubone was a Charmander that lost its parent and now walks around with a Charizard skull on fending for itself. However, according to some Charmander cards, Charmander would die if the flame on his tail went out, however Cubone doesn't have a flame so that would make him dead right?
If you have been playing Legends: Z-A, you must be done with most of the game and already found tons of Alpha Pokémon. Unlike Arceus, the Alphas are not a part of the game story in Legends: Z-A, but they are always useful in combat.
For all the collectors out there, a rare find - a gold plated 1st edition Charizard card from the Pokémon TCG. This limited edition card features a holographic finish and is in near mint or better condition.
Shiny Pokémon are rare variants of Pokémon that are differently colored than other Pokémon of their species.
During its sole broadcast in Japan on December 16, 1997, multiple scenes with flashing lights induced photosensitive epileptic seizures in children across the country.
Ash clearly ages but is constantly said to be 10. He was at least 11 in Alola because you needed to be 11 to do the trials, and at least 15-16 in XY because Clemont and Serena are 16 and unless Serena is a cougar hitting on a 10 year old, Ash had to be age appropriate.
They might even know the true meaning of the number, seeing as they put Vivillon on it... or they don't give a damn, and put Vivillon on there because it's just an early Pokémon in the game. Lastly, the number 666 is not evil.
Mewtwo was obtainable in-game, and was given number 150, so that there were no gaps. Mew was supposed to only be available through events, so was given number 151. my explanation is mewtwo was a known pokemon first. Mew was considered a legend but never actually seen so it didn't have a dex number.
Reminder that Cherubi is 420 in the National Dex : r/pokemon.
