Make An Appointment at a Passport Agency or Center

If travelling to the USA by air must have a Canadian passport or a valid NEXUS card. If travelling to the USA by land or sea, in addition to a passport, other proof of citizenship is allowed, such as an original or copy of his or her birth certificate or a Canadian Citizenship Card.
How long does it take to receive an emergency passport? It won't be instantaneous. Generally, emergency travel documents can be issued a minimum of two working days after the application is paid and received.
Emergency Passport Service in the United States
Individuals who face an emergency travel situation that requires they obtain a passport in 2 weeks or less (4 weeks or less if visa required) can schedule an appointment to submit the application at a regional passport agency.

Our processing times begin the day we receive your application at a passport agency or center, not the day you mail your application or apply for a passport at a local acceptance facility. If you did not receive your passport in this time period, you can request a refund of the $60 expedited service fee.
Applying for a same-day passport this way will cost $110 for the application fee, $35 for the execution fee and $60 for the expedited service fee for a total of $195. This does not include expenses for travel, parking, passport photo and other items that can increase the total cost of expediting a passport.
