The Bible says, "Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?" (Hebrews 1:14). But the Bible also clearly teaches that we aren't to worship angels or pray to them.
The primary contact point in the New Testament is the condemnation of the “worship of angels” in Colossians: "Let no one disqualify you, insisting on asceticism and worship of angels, going on in detail about visions, puffed up without reason by his sensuous mind" (Colossians 2:18)
In addition to being the spirits of motion, they also assist in governing nature. They also assist with miracles, as well as encourage humans to strengthen their faith in God.
Angels are mentioned throughout the Christian scriptures, and Christian tradition identifies nine orders of angels. Islam's hierarchy of angels descends from the four throne bearers of God to the cherubim who praise God, the four archangels, and lesser angels such as the ḥafaẓah (guardian angels).
Methodist Church
Perhaps every Christian has a guardian angel. It may be that there is one angel to every Christian, or a score of them; or one may have charge of a score of Christians. Some of the ancient fathers believed that every city had a guardian angel, while others assigned one to every house and every man.
Matthew 13:41-42
The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
God's promise through the psalmist to Jesus applies to us as well. Next scriptures, the Word says “See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.” — Exodus 23:20.
Hindus do not believe in angels as portrayed by Christianity and Islam because these angels are created by God/Allah, but they do believe in the asparas and gandharvas, who are distinct heavenly beings but lesser beings than the gods. Buddhism also believes in the existence of gandharvas.
One of the beautiful and consoling teachings of the Catholic Church is that God has given each one of us a guardian angel to lead us on the path to salvation. Beside each believer stands an Angel as protector and shepherd, leading him to life. Angels are pure spirits. They do not have physical bodies.
God created the spiritual, non-corporeal (bodiless) beings we call angels, explains the Catechism of the Catholic Church (nos. 328-336). The Church bases this teaching on both Scripture and Tradition. Each angel has intelligence and will, and each is a personal and immortal creature.
Jesus said (quoting the Old Testament), "Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only" (Matthew 4:10). Angels were created by God (just as we were), and only our Creator is worthy of our adoration. We also aren't to pray to angels -- and we don't need to!
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is reported to have said that every man has ten guardian angels. Ali ben-Ka'b/Ka'b bin 'Ujrah, and Ibn 'Abbas read these as angels.
The Lord has not revealed whether one specific angel is assigned to watch over each person, but you can be assured that divine protection and comfort are available. If you exercise faith, you will have God's help, including angels sent to strengthen and comfort you and give you courage to do what is right.
Angels in the Bible
The word angel comes from the Greek word aggelos (pronounced angelos), which means messenger. Some English translations of the Bible also translate malak, the Hebrew word for messenger, as angel when the malak is from God. Sharing a message from God is the primary role of angels in Scripture.

An angel will escort you to heaven when you die according to Luke 16:22, but most of all, angels give GOD praise and honor and glory and angels rejoice every time a soul is won for the kingdom of God!
By obeying their guardian angels, he said, Christian men and women can avoid the dangers of taking the wrong path or, worse, leaving the path and going “from one place to another like in a labyrinth that ensnares.”
Our guardian angels watch over us to offer protection, especially when our souls need protecting. They aid our prayer by interceding for us, and help to prepare our souls for the moment when we stand before God at our death.
The original group is still alive and thriving today, with active patrols in seven New York cities, and it has expanded their message all over the globe. Guardian Angels can be found in 22 U.S. states, and 19 international countries – with particularly strong presences in Japan and Italy.
As some Muslims believe there are no further prophets to come, angels may not be relevant today. The other articles of faith are more important in the modern world e.g. prophets , holy books etc.
The Quran makes multiple mentions of angels, both collectively and individually, as in the case of the angel Gabriel. In light of this, it is perhaps not surprising that in most countries surveyed, a majority of Muslims say they believe in angels; in some regions this belief is nearly universal.
Angels are more prominent in Islam compared to Judeo-Christian tradition, being involved in humans everyday life. Belief in angels is one of the main articles of faith in Islam.
Therefore, the first creation by God was the supreme archangel followed by other archangels, who are identified with lower Intellects. From these Intellects again, emanated lower angels or "moving spheres", from which in turn, emanated other Intellects until it reaches the Intellect, which reigns over the souls.
Your angels may also communicate in more obvious ways, like speaking directly to you. You may hear a voice, either inside your head or a voice that seems to come from outside of you, even when no one else is around. Very often this will happen when your angels need to share some vital information to keep you safe.
Angels are activated by the word of God (Psalm 103:20). 3.Be careful of the words you speak. Do not speak wrong words. Wrong words would deactivate your angels of blessing.
