Sofa Sunday 2013, 2014 and onwards

Sofa Sunday Australia : Sunday after Black Friday

Sofa Sunday is the Sunday after the US Thanksgiving holiday, two days after Black Friday. It is an informal marketing term for online shopping, not an official event or a public holiday. The name refers to the growing use of tablet computers: after hitting the stores on Black Friday and taking a break on Buy Nothing Day on Saturday, Sunday is the day to cuddle up on the sofa and browse for online bargains. The next day is Cyber Monday.
